So Far , Unfortunately AccuTite Not Close to Being Worth It
Had AccuTite on my jowls and lower eye area a month and a half ago. I first had the worst recovery as I had a uber reaction to either local lidocaine or the actual heat as my face swelled so much I had to have a shot of Prednisone 3 days later. Swelling continued for 3 weeks of both under eyes and jowls and bruising was terrible also. I also had nerve injury from again either local anesthetic or the actual procedure as I to this day can not control my upper lip and at this point can not sip through a straw or pucker or say words properly, especially F words! I have seen doctor once since procedure for the shot of Prednisone and he says I will be fine. I guess I would be not so upset with the whole experience and nerve injury if I saw ANY change, but see nothing. Jowls are same and so is under eye area. Most of my face still hurts to the touch and I wish I never did it......

I hope things are getting better. I didn’t have any of the complications that you had but mine was just my lower face and my doctor said she did not take out fat from my jowls - just hit them with a little RF because of the nerves involved. I am so sorry it has happened to you - is it possible the doctor/practitioner used a bigger cannula on you (like FaceTite or NeckTite)? My doctor was just telling me that the AccuTite device is now small enough to avoid the nerve damage you’re describing but she still doesn’t do a lot with the actual jowls. I guess if the doctor got too close to the nerve sites with any instrument, it could happen.
I had a terrible experience with AccuTite. Had it on jowls and lower eye area. Was told there would be practically zero downtime - at most a couple of days. Ha! Had spectacular bruising and swelling. Left eye almost swollen shut the next day. And they don't tell you beforehand that you're supposed to wear this compression head garment for a week. Looked like a freak show for 2 weeks; took much longer than that to get back to where I started. It's now been almost 7 months. No improvement on jowls or jawline; under eye area worse than before. Beware!
how long it took to deflate and return to the initial volume in the lower eyelids?
Ugh ladies I’m so sorry.
I did have 4 sessions of accutite because I had a bad face fat graft 2 years ago tomorrow!
And then I went korea I had a deformed lipo performed there. Hell again.
So I started w accutite
But my surgeon he’s good with it, check my photos when my review is accepted.

I’m with you on this one, they totally lie about it being minimally invasive and almost no downtime - no way I could show my face anywhere until about 10 days afterwards. But the worst is now 5 weeks later, I still have pain along my jawline - almost feels like being zapped with electric shock when I rub them. Also have a huge hard lump/scar under my chin. And even worse, the jowls are still there, the area where far was removed from under my chin is all jiggly skin my chin is sunken and my jawline is uneven. Wait, I forgot, even worse than all that is that I still have pin prick grid marks on my neck from the micro needling they did at the same time. I wish I never did it.
Exactly what I have!
