Today is my First Day Taking Accutane Capsule

My first visit to see the dermatologist for a consultation was Jan 27, 2024 Saturday. I was advised to make another appointment to see the dermatologist because REMS ipledge was very strict with dates and time lines for appointment details. I had to make a ipledge account immediately after the appointment the same day. Because Minara dermatology medical center did not have a on sight lab clinic, I was given an option to use labcorp or quest diagnostic. I completed my labs (blood test) with labcorp on Wednesday Feb 21.
I visited the dermatologist second time Feb 24 Saturday. Both visits i had to do a pregnancy test that have to come back negative. The doctor read my labs said my iron levels were low and to keep an eye out for that and that my liver results were not sent to her office yet but that she will prescribe me the 40 MG to begin accutane!!!!
The pharmacy in partnership with this dermatologist office delivers free of charge and I was able to get my prescription of accutane delivered to my front door after 2 days (I had to call the pharmacy to update my health insurance info and verify address). My copay was just $7!! I have 7 days from my doc appointment to do the iPLEDGE 10 questions, pass them, then get medication once doc approves 'everything is okay' on her end in the iPLEDGE system.
I'll include pics of my face during half of my 1st BC package (doc ordered 3 28 day bc) I needed 2 form of BC- Im doing the male condoms and combo pills; and pics i took at my second doc appointment and will try to make bi-monthly updates and pictures.
