Accutane/Isotretinoin 2018 journey

Hi guys,
I am done with my third month. I’m now taking 60mg My dermatologist said that this is the right dose for me because I haven’t get any active acne since I started the 60mg. Something that Amazed me when I started the 60mg was how my pores where pushing all the impurities under my skin without me even touching my skin.I do have enlarged pores which I hope will minimize by the end of my treatment. I still have a lot of dark spot but my dermatologist said that she’ll treat me that once I finish my accutane journey. Side effect so far just dry lips, dry skin, sometimes ankle pain but just when I walked for a long time the day before. I did started to get dry tired eyes , but I bought an eye drop that helped me a lot.

I’ve been off accutane for about 22 days because of Insurance issues. I will be seeing my dermatologist this Thursday but I wanted to show you guys how my face is looking now from the last time I took the pill. It has improved a lot even though I am not taking the pill anymore. I still have the heel pain, I will mention this to my derm at my next appoitment. I usually get a lot of new active acne around my period but this time I just got 2 which Is a big improvement.

Hi guys so it’s been a month since I started accutane. I got some new Pimples in the last 2 weeks and this last week my face started to peal off.

Side effects started to kick in. I am experience some minor pain in my heel. I do work out but This is the first time I experience this kind of soreness so I believe is the accutane. If anybody has any advice on how to reduce the joints pain let me know please.

Bad news ???? I will have to stop the accutane for like 22 days because my insurance won’t cover my derm visits. Hopefully I will start back on it around march 1.
