I have been following that plan for two years now with absolutely NO breakouts

Life Changing

WORTH IT
I tried accutane at 14 and was afraid I would get more depressed and stopped. After that I tried literally every other oral, topical prescription known to mab and it was all terrible or ineffective. Next I never to lasers - blue light, Ipl, fraxel, everything known to man: very painful and did not help also cost a fortune. At 29 I was fed up of having cystic acne rule my life. I decided to go back to dermatologists in my area and let them do their thing (I think multiple opinions are key to big decisions) . Both suggested accutane. I was shocked at my age that was the only option both felt would truly help me. I went for it ..l in 4 months my face started transforming. I kid you not it only got better from there. I picked up tips to help with dry eyes and nos e and lips along the way (message me and I will be happy to share). Sadly after two courses some acne came back (mild) but after having PERFECT skin I just couldn’t accept that so.. my derm and I worked out a low dose accutane maintenance plan. I have been following that plan for two years now with absolutely NO breakouts. I hope to be off completely in the coming years but for now I am so so grateful I gave the ‘tane another go later in life. Funny how we started wearing masks when my skin cleared but I will take clear skin any day of the week with minimal side effects. I went from two hour concealer cry sessions hiding my face any way I could to literally splashing water and cleanser on my face and going for a run without anyone staring at my zits…. Check my pics! Xoxo

I’m almost 34 and just started low dose - how many mg were you on
I am still on it! My current dose is one 20mg pill once every 7 days. What’s your dose/frequency?
Oooh okay ! What was the plan previously? I am doing 20mg for 20 weeks then from there depending on results going down to 10mg 3x week
Hi! Just want you to know that I am 70 & taking 40 mg every other day. I'm reducing my dose as I have cancer & am taking this because of sebaceous hyperplasia. I developed cataracts from late stage BC, had them removed, treated for dry eye with Restasis. Claravis was my only help & it's working. My son is now 36 & took this when he was 14 & to this day, has never had a pimple. You two hang in here & clear it up now! Good luck!!!
Question to anyone who has been on accutne. Have yall ever gotten a yeast infection while being on it? Im on 80mg and its happening /:
Your skin looks beautiful! Would you mind sharing your provider? Also, do you still have to use the ipledge program with your regimen?
