I Had a Horrible Experience

My experience was horrible. I went to Dr Patel for vaginal atrophy. She uses the Co2re Intima laser device for vaginal atrophy caused from menopause.One of my symptoms is pain during intercourse. If you read the phamlet by Syneron Candela for Co2re Intima, which I received from Dr Patel's office is so misleading and deceptive. It never lets the patient know that they could feel horrible pain and be burned. I assume that I was burned because I bled. The 2 sessions hurt & burned me so much I was too scared to have the 3rd treatment. I was informed that I did not follow protocol by an email from someone who responded to my email complaining about the horrible 2 sessions. I guess protocol was that I did not want to use vaginal estradiol cream, did not have trust in a compound cream that was to help with pain and numbing and passed on the third treatment. Sorry, any treatment that feels like I am being burned by a curling iron will scare me. I did ask for my $1200 refund for 2 treatments and was denied. All true!!

No matter what feedback I receive from the dr, facility or others, it does not matter to me. I went to get this Co2re Intima laser treatment for vaginal atrophy by Dr Falguni Patel in Aberdeen, Nj with high hopes and the entire experience was painful physically and emotionally. The Dr & staff are nice when you meet them but if you have complaints, attitudes change. I asked for $1200,months later, for the 2 horrible sessions. I waited because I thought I had no way for a refund because I signed a contract. I realized that contracts are not in blood when procedures go terribly wrong due to the dr & device. Also, it has come out by the FDA that these devices are not to be used for vaginal atrophy. I attempted to ask for $1200 refund the two sessions,but I was shut down fast. Well, I am pleased to take this opportunity to share by bad experience so other women are aware that this is not such a wonderful treatment drs and the device manufacturers want you to believe. Better safe rhen sorry...

For those of you who question, Why I did not use vaginal estradiol cream... Let me share why. I was, already using estradiol patches and feeling terrible on them. Adding more estradiol, in any way, scared me. With estradiol, already, effecting me negatively... I did do the vaginal estradiol cream a few times but I never did it consistently. Dr Patel's office sent me an email stating that I did not use it at all. I, actually, do not remember telling them that.. They say, I said it. Prove It!! I wanted to do Co2re intima for vaginal atrophy, to avoid all estrogens, ALL.Drs say, you should not have any side effects ti vaginal estradiol cream for vaginal atrophy in low doses. Read the side effects!!!!!!!! Scarey, if you ask me.
I am happy for those that have had a great experience with vaginal atrophy by these vaginal devices. Just know, that all people who are going into this with the same symptoms and hope of success are not fortunate enough as you have been. Some of us are experiencing horrible pain and burns. It is not about taking sides... We all want the same outcome, unfortunately, we are all not getting it.
By the end of the year, I will decide whether or not to go to Healthgrades about the Dr & experience. I am bitter, I went for treatments that I expected to help me with vaginal atrophy and spent $1200 on 2 painful treatments. Dr Falguni Patel has not admitted how bad the treatments went. She has manager(s) responding to my emails who were not present during my treatments. There are many more reasons. I hope Dr Falguni makes herself available whether she feels my complaints are worth her time or not.
