Medtour Colombia confirmed that the personnel have been removed from their facility, which is good for all patients so they do not share my early experience :) Still i’d recommend you should keep your money in a secure location. That aside, the level of care at Medtour is constant, there is always someone to check up on you, and the location itself is in close proximity to hospitals and the Dr’s offices, which will also help you rest easier. I appreciated that they reached out, were professional and understanding, and still tried to resolve the issue after I left the country, hence, this updated review. It is well-deserved.

Amazing Doctor, but Beware of MEDTOUR COLOMBIA
Dr Diego Franco’s work is amazing and I am grateful for his recommendations, as he definitely knows what he’s doing when he’s shaping you. He also took into account my concerns and made me feel more confident about my decision. I would absolutely recommend him. 5 Stars to him.
My experience with the Doctor was only positive, and to him, I give 5 stars, however, for international patients to book with him, you must go through MedTour Colombia, who not only take weeks to respond, but my experience there was the absolute worst. I contacted them in late March, and was unable to book my surgery untill early May, after weeks of pushing and pushing them to respond to me.
After my first day at MedTour, a place that urges you to bring in cash, I had 500$ of my surgery money stolen from my room that I had hidden away in my belongings. When all the staff were questioned, no one bat an eye and merely said they hope it shows up again, not offering any resolution or assistance over something that occurred at THEIR facility. I ended up having to pay the rest of my surgery with card. A week after returning home, I was contacted by, and learned that two other patients (of Dr Hector Garcia) staying at MedTour also had large amounts of money taken from their rooms. This is unacceptable, and they make no actions to rectify the robberies and just brush it under the rug. AVOID STAYING AT MEDTOUR AT ALL COSTS. Your surgery money could go missing.
I would suggest Dr Diego Franco and other plastic surgeons to distance themselves from MedTour, or find another recovery house with better credentials. The doctor himself is a very talented surgeon, and it would be best to find other options for the bookings of his patients.

Thank you so much for your honest opinion of this facility! I recently booked this recovery house, and like you said, they took for ever to respond! After putting down my deposit I won’t miss $100 as opposed to how much can go missing if I actually stayed there. Thanks again!
Thank you for your review. After years of working with the entire team that has been vital in ensuring my patients have the proper care and full assistance at what is the best recovery facility in the city there has NEVER been an incident of any kind and many doctors in the city trust them for the same reason. Remember it is always important that patients take responsibility for their belongings and they have safe deposit boxes in every single room which if not used makes it extremely difficult to control what happens to the belongings of the individual.
I have also been informed that they have spoken with you directly about this situation and are in the process of removing the personnel that may have been involved with the situation. It is understandable how this may effect your outlook about your experience however it is the incident not the care or assistance you received that was the problem while staying there.
On another note. This facility does not require or ask you to use cash. In fact they were one of the first to offer credit card payments both online and physically at there facility.

Took a deposit promised to return it after hearing about concerns regarding what Dr Hugo could perform based on prior patients review. Promised a return and I’m still waiting after 4 months and a verbal and written promise dated 12/5
to return deposit.
I’ve made attempts to retrieve by contacting both Dr Hugo and Christopher Edwards. Christopher redirected me several times and is now ignoring my attempts. Dr Hugo never responded at all.
Christopher Edwards is partnered with Claudia Christina Valez Alcatel who took my deposit thru Remitly.
This company lacks integrity and is seeking to take advantage of trusting women
