27 years old, 5'3, 145lb. 10/01/08 got 500cc smooth, high profile saline implants, submuscular, peri-areolar incision, from a board certified PS. Got capsular contracture within the first month. Both breast didnt drop, both very hard, and the left was higher & harder. My PS told me to massage & take ibuprofen everyday. It didnt help it.Six months later on 04/15/09 I got revision surgery by the same PS. I got capsular contracture again within a month. Its been 3 months now & Ive been massaging & taking ibuprofen as told, still not better. Im not in any pain, the ibuprofen he says is for anti-inflammatory reasons. I started taking vitamin E everyday as well to see if it would help. I also gained 20 pounds from being depressed, staying home, not wanting to go outside from being self conscious.I dont know if I should wait a couple of more months to see if they get better or get a second revision from a different PS, as soon as possible.

what an -------. did u research his ratings to see if he had other complaints? i did that with my obgyn surgeon and found out that he butchered and almost killed other patients. my obgyn surgeon is the reason i had to ultimately get cosmetic surgery...i say u go to websites and see what other patients have to say about him. had i done that with my obgyn surgeon before i took him on as a doctor, i probably would not have had to get cosmetic surgery to bein with :(

I just checked him out this week & the only complaints he had were that hes always in a hurry & is arrogant. The first time I got capsular contracture he didnt even tell me I had it. He just kept saying "OK everything seems fine, come back in a month". I had to ask him why did they look like that & then he had the nerve to say "Oh its not life threatning, its just capsular contracture". What a jerk!

well...i mean...i duno...from what i can see, it looks as if he did not take into consideration that one bag should have been bigger than the other. most breasts are naturally not the same size, but to the untrained eye, especially if the breasts are small, its usually not noticable. as a professional, he should have known, and cared. go to the rating sites (anonymously) and put his unprofessionalism on blast. maybe u can save somebody else from him. and i will cross my fingers for u that u ultimately find a doctor sympathetic to ur situation and is willing to do a fix for u for cheap or probono...
