WORTH IT
I went to Dr. Elie Ramly [ https://ramlyplasticsurgery.com ] after seeing his work on a male friend’s face which looked completely natural and masculine. (And 20 years younger!) I went in without a lot of expectations. I just wanted to lose some of the laxity in my neck and look more "drawn inside the lines", so I was shocked to see my Adam’s apple again, the complete eradication of neck laxity and jowls and to see a jawline again. Nothing looked pulled or cookie-cutter. It looks like he just seamlessly shrunk my birthday suit a few sizes. There’s an aesthetic taste level in Dr. Ramly’s work that shows in the preservation of your individual expressions. He carefully looked at how my face moves so his work looks natural resting and when animated. In addition to the actual surgery, the entire procedure happens at a very high-end concierge level of care. Dr. Ramly and his team care for you like a member of his own family. The evening after surgery, he came to my home (!) to check on me, even though I was returning the next morning to have bandages removed. That also makes it more relaxed for friends or family caring for you post-surgery to know your care is on that level. I stopped pain meds on day 2, as there was no pain, zero bruising and minimal discomfort that required nothing more than a couple acetaminophen. Day 3 I was running errands. A week later I was back to hiking a few miles a day. The recovery was a breeze. I recently went to a dermatologist in Beverly Hills who asked who did my surgery and when I told him Dr. Elie Ramly he said, “Oh. You got the best.” 100% agree. If you’re going to do an elective surgery this big, do it with a doctor (and staff) you enjoy spending time with, who you can trust is at the top of their game and who is clearly a people person operating from a place of wanting you to be happy that you decided to finally do it.
