Dr A has been my anti-aging guru for quite some time. When he started doing plasma pen I was interested as an alternative to under eye fille. He said I was a perfect candidate so.....day 1 not so bad. Treatment was fast and not so uncomfortable.

How is your healing coming and how are your results?

Hi there, how are you liking your results? Did you wash your face when you had scabs? I'm interested in the aftercare post treatment. I always hear conflicting advice regarding dry healing vs wet.

Thanks so much for the nice review. I have been doing Plasma Pen "Fibroblast Skin Tightening " for over 2 years now. I was trained in the UK at , what I consider , the best program . My advice to any one interested in getting Plasma Pen treatments is to make sure the professional is well trained and knowledgeable. It seems that many popular courses are targeting estheticians, but in several states this procedure is not considered to be in their scope of practice, as it is considered an invasive medical procedure. The results can be beautiful, but in the wrong hands, the results can be problematic. Consider getting it done only under a trained doctor's supervision.

This is a response to a query by an esthetician on a message board:
Fibroblast plasma is not within the scope of practice for estheticians in the US. FDA does not approve fibroblast plasma devices and no insurances will cover that procedure. Some estheticians in Florida and other states got a cease & desist letter and a $1000 fine for operating fibroblast service without a medical license.

It is best to contact your State Board. If they aren't able to give you an answer then contact the Health Department to ensure if you can perform it without a medical license. If they both don't know to answer your question, don't do it. It's not worth to lose your license.
