Dr A has been my anti-aging guru for quite some time. When he started doing plasma pen I was interested as an alternative to under eye fille. He said I was a perfect candidate so.....day 1 not so bad. Treatment was fast and not so uncomfortable.
I am not sure what your treatment provider is trying to achieve by injecting the zygomaticus major and minor muscles. Any weakening of these will cause a droop in the corner of the mouth. These can be treated in isolated cases for major asymmetries, but to the best of my knowledge, it is best to avoid injecting them.
Our faces contain anatomical fat compartments. As time goes by, these fat compartments shrink, some more than others, and can contribute to wrinkling and sagging in the mid face and well as the lower face. Other factors can also accelerate this process. The bones in the face also change shape with age, and the lips also lose volume. To address your situation, any of the available fillers can be used to restore volume to the mid face which will create a lift and soften the grooves and sagging in the lower face. The nasolabial folds are treated then also. After the midface is treated, filers and be injected in the marionette "lines" and oral commissures and well as the prejowl sulci ( the depressions in front of the jowls). This should decrease the sagging. I hope my answer was helpful.
Typically, TMJ pain is successfully treated with 20 units of Botox per side. The result is often complete absence of pain which may last 6 months or longer.
