Official Before/After’s from Dr’s Office taken Week 7 Post-Op
At this last official visit, my surgeon was pleased with my progress, gave me a shot around my belly button so scar tissue wouldn’t cause my belly button to shrink, got a third undergarment (high quality spanx-type), was released from any restrictions. Consume 1200 calories. Walking & exercise are ok, but no abdominal or core exercises for 6 months. Continue scar cream through 6 months. Wear binder along with new undergarment 4 more weeks, even while exercising.
Have a few friends interested in the same procedure because of my experience. One is scheduled in May 2019. Dr Ahmadi suggested for me to come with any of my friends who travel from Louisiana to see him, if I can... he would like to see my progress. Since recovery truly takes 6 months to a year I could expect continued improvements so long as I do my part as well. :) SOOOO THANKFUL to have found Dr Ahmadi!! Happy with my results so far!! :) Great experience!!!
Week 6 ~ Post-Op
I’m slender in the mornings. By the afternoon or end of the day, I feel the swelling or puffiness comes back a little. I know it will take time. I definitely notice increased swelling if I have had too high of a salt intake. I am trying to be more conscious not to overindulge when eating. Due to my tighter abdominal area, I do find I am fuller faster & I’m trying to be more aware. Except for one cup of coffee in the mornings, I am strictly drinking water. Note to self: I really should set an alarm every hour to drink 8 oz like I did so faithfully after surgery.
This past week, my husband snipped my belly button stitches for me. They were showing no real signs of falling out and I was ready for them to go. I will travel to see my surgeon again in Sugar Land, Texas in six days at which time I will get his assessment of my results, as well as take my official “after” pictures at his office.
Next step... will be to incorporate regular exercise. I regret I haven’t at least started walking. I can think of every excuse, but if I’m truthful there really are no excuses.
Looks like I’ll need to do some shopping soon! Although I’m still wearing dresses as per my doctor’s orders, this past week I briefly slipped on some jeans & pants I had previously worn. They were TOOOO BIG!! I was so happy!! As each week goes by, I am happier and happier about my decision to undergo my LipoTuck procedure. :)
Week 5 ~ Post-Op
Provider Review
Wow! Just Wow!! This is the FIRST time I can ever remember contacting a business, much less a surgeon, from seeing their billboard. But I’m SO GLAD I did!! I’m from South Louisiana and was in the Houston area (Sugar Land/Richmond) for a family wedding. The website for LipoTuck - that’s all I can remember from the billboard which lead me to Avante Plastic Surgery and the brilliant, the talented, the self-proclaimed “perfectionist” (and rightly so)... DR. AHMAD AHMADI! LipoTuck sounded exactly like what I’d been needing since the birth of my two children, currently 22 and 18 years of age. Never having done ANYTHING like this, I read, watched and researched everything I could find on Dr. Ahmadi and the LipoTuck surgical procedure he created and has perfected. I’m THRILLED to be just over 3 weeks post-op and already seeing such a tremendous difference. I knew there was a thinner version of me in there somewhere. Dr. Ahmadi has helped me “hit the reset button” on my figure. I haven’t enjoyed shopping for clothing far too long... now I’m actually looking forward to it. I cannot end this review without a shout out to Dr. Ahmadi’s staff... his office coordinator Neda, nurse Kat and front office receptionist Katie are such a delight. They have served as great support for my family and me — including 24/7 availability by cell phone — again, just wow! I’m impressed not only by their availability to me, but also by how thorough Dr. Ahmadi’s LipoTuck instructions pre- and post-op have been and how well they were communicated to me, both orally and in writing. I honestly didn’t have many questions or concerns because they covered literally everything. After my research and speaking first to Neda by phone, had they allowed me, if Dr. Ahmadi hadn’t needed to physically examine me, I would’ve scheduled my surgery date, skipping the consultation altogether (no kidding - yes, you can ask Neda, I tried - haha). THAT’S how sure I was that Dr. Ahmadi was the Surgeon for me. Hear me when I say, he will be honest and tell you if you DON’T need work done, like he did when my sister-in-law joined me at my consultation and inquired about a perceived problem area of hers. I tried persuading him, both at my consultation and on pre-op marking day, that I was pretty sure I also needed outer and inner thigh lipo, but he won — said I didn’t need it. But he did allow me to add under-chin/neck lipo and I’m glad we did. I have to admit, I do have a brilliant and capable plastic surgeon friend Mark who is also in Texas. He and his wife are precious to me. Like I am sure Mark is, Dr. Ahmadi no doubt would be just as much a perfectionist for any procedure performed. For LipoTuck, this is Dr. Ahmadi’s “baby” and I couldn’t possibly consider any other surgeon... very professional, soft-spoken but matter-of-fact, modern and immacculate Doctor’s Office and Surgery Center. Definitely worth the out-of-state six-hour trip to get a “Body by Ahmadi”!!! I CONFIDENTLY and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Ahmad Ahmadi, along with his very capable and helpful staff - Neda, Kat and Katie. SO THANKFUL I saw that billboard!! ~Lori in Louisiana
