4 days until TT procedure on 11/27 with Dr. Aaron Gorin. Excited, nervous, excited, nervous, excited....you get the picture. However, I'm mostly excited to get my stomach muscles repaired and the extra skin/stretch marks removed! I keep wondering if I should have scheduled the breast augmentation as well for a full mommy makeover. But at the consult appt Dr. Gorin didn't think I needed it and thought it would make me look top heavy. Felt reassuring he's not out for money and is honest! Maybe in a few years I'll do it. ;)

More pre-op pics

I had my surgery on 11/27 but haven't taken pics yet. Super sore and tired. Wanted to add some more pre-op pics so I had something to compare to after. I'll post post-op pics tomorrow after my surgery.

I had a really hard time yesterday morning...after brushing my teeth in the bathroom I got really dizzy and nauseous. Thank god my cousin is as close by because I was going to pass out! All I could think is, how could I hit the floor gently! She ran and put cold wash clothes on my back and forehead which felt amazing. I was so clammy and sweaty. Then she grabbed the ondanestron that started helping within an minute or two.

Post-op Day 3

Feeling much better than day 1 and 2 post-op. I developed a rash from an allergic reaction to the cleansing fluid they use during surgery, not a surprise as I have super sensitive skin. I was a little concerned about the purple/black blood bruise on the front of my stomach. Anyone else have this? How was it treated?? Sent pics to my doctor and he worked me in right away. I'm now on prednisone for the rash and he has me applying silver nitrate to purple/black area. Dr Gorin and explained to me it happens because that is the area which was right below my old belly button. This area is really thin and didn't get the oxygen it needed for healing...so now it's black and will eventually be an open wound and will take a good 6 months to heal! So bummed. I will have to go back on for some revision work. Looking on the bright side though as things could always be worse like a blood clot! Yikes! Positive healing vibes! ???????????
