Hello all. I flew from the Bronx to Dallas and got the G4 Golpa experience. 7/31/19. After having 5 consultations in New York and realizing I would never be able to afford to get my smile fixed I started researching my options. I joined some great groups on facebook and learned about G4 Golpa. I watched every video I could, I read every review I could find and heard nothing but great things about this procedure. I honestly thought it sounded too good to be true. I had several phone consults, the office staff are great about answering your questions. I made the decision to do this mostly alone because the few people I did tell were negative about it, telling me I was crazy for spending so much money. Fast forward to my surgery date 7/31/19, i had my extractions, 8/1/19, bridges placed, 8/2/19 I flew back to the Bronx. All I can say is, so far all the great things you hear about the procedure and the service are true. Dr. Anderson, and Dr. Kelsey are not only knowledgeable, and professional, but extremely warm. Every staff member i encountered made me feel so important and comfortable. I am adjusting to everything that has happened to me over the last week. I have had minimal, and I say minimal pain, some swelling. And no bruising. I am so glad I did this, and judging from the reaction of the few family and friends, and the people in my groups, I made a great choice. I cant say how grateful I am to everyone who reviewed, took pictures, update on their progress, because it really helped me make my decision to do this. I still haven't revealed my smile to my co workers and friends, and I will be honest, I am nervous about that. My husband was a naysayer, but once he saw my outcome he became a supporter to the point that he wants to get his done now. He had a different perspective because he sat in the waiting area and got to talk to the staff and other customers who came in and he was impressed. There are many versions of this procedure out there but so far I have no regrets about the choice I made.

Looking great. Had mine done there the day before you did, and was there for the bridges on the day your husband was in the waiting room. I had a chat with him, and he told me he is waiting on you. Totally agree about the staff and the doctors. Very caring, very professional.

Oh wow, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you. I believe my husband told me about you. How are you? How is your recovery going?
August 7, 2019
Doing ok, thank you..Tightness and pain was gone after 5 days. Taking Advil once or twice a day now. I sound funny when I talk, so it will take some practice. It's a big change, and will require time and effort.

What material are your new teeth?
User Avatar
August 29, 2019
It is described as a titanium reinforced non acrylic hybrid polymer.

Ive read different experiences which I guess is to be expected, since everyone is different with how they heal etc. and the provider. Do you mind me asking how many teeth you had replaced? This has been painful for me the last several months and my front tooth has to come out as the dentist here broke it and wants to put an implant in but I would like to have my front teeth done (scared as heck as I know they are the worst)!! Your smile is amazing!

I had 22 extractions. I had "conscious sedation" but I don't remember any of it. I didn't experience any pain that wasn't controlled with Motrin after the procedure. Today is day 8 and I am no longer taking meds. I was petrified to do this. Just thinking about it made me cry. Here I am 1 week post OP and I'm so glad I did this. I am adjusting to my new look and so appreciate the compliments so thank you so much
August 13, 2019
Did thd concious sedation hurt wen they stuck the needles into your gums. Im planning on paying extra 500-600 for IV sedation bcus im sooo afraid of needles in my gums an im a professional nurse. Uggh lol

The only needle is when they put the IV in my hand. He put the IV in my hand, starting explaining what was in it, the next thing I remember was someone asking me how I felt. I dont remember one thing about the procedure.

I had a full mouth restoration. Today is one week from eday and I am still adjusting. Bo pain, my swelling is almost totally gone. My mouth feels tired but I guess that is to be expected.
August 9, 2019
Hi...how much did full mouth restoration cost and where did you have it done? Thanks, appreciate it.
User Avatar
August 9, 2019
I had it done by G4 Golpa in Dallas, the cost is 36,500 but they have lots of specials. I was able to get my restoration for 30,500.
December 9, 2019
What kind of payments plans do they have and what do you suggest
User Avatar
December 9, 2019
I did not use a payment plan but you can refer to the Golpa website to get info on the plans they offer.

Congratulations and welcome to the G4 club. You look amazing! Such a beautiful smile. I had mine done almost 2 years ago and still feel it's the best thing I ever did. I only wish I could have afforded to have it done sooner. My mouth also felt tired for the first several weeks. The bridges just felt so tight. That is all part of the healing and will go away with time.

I am 10 days out from eday and I am feeling good. My swelling is gone, I have no pain and I am eating real food. I even lost 9 lbs. I have been doing salt water rinses 2-3 times a day, brushing twice a day with baking soda, using my water pick twice a day, swishing with mouthwash twice a day, but up until today I was too scared to floss. I am happy to report glossing was a lot easier than I thought it would be and painless. I definitely need more practice, and I wasn't able to get into a few spots but it went well. I need to get one of those things that hold your mouth open so I'm not fighting with my lips while I'm doing my cleaning. I would live to here any tricks veterans have come up with.

Hi, first of all congratulations! U look awesome! My 24-yr-old daughter needs implants asap. We would also have to fly and live not far from NY. How many times do u have to fly back and forth and what if u have an emergency? (We were quoted almost $50,000 locally.) Thank you
User Avatar
August 18, 2019
I too was quoted over $50;000 to have it done here in South Florida and it would take a year. I went to Golpa in Vegas and had it done in 24 hours for $30;000. Best thing I ever did. I flew back for a 6 month check up and I go once a year for cleanings. If you have an emergency, either fly back or see a local dentist.
October 26, 2019
That is AWESOME! Im still in the process of getting mine done at a dental school in NY, and I can't say how highly disappointed I am, especially with the staff that is supervising. Worst decision I ever made and the worst dental school ever. They tout all the newest tech and I can tell you thats a lie, they tout using new equipment and thats a lie. They claim to be the best and highly acclaimed, and thats a lie, and the reviews prove it. I wish I had gone to Golpa in the start. Hopefully, I can before the year is out and stop all treatments at this dental school in NY
October 26, 2019
I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's such a tough decision because of the enormity of it added to the expense. Flying won't work for us. I have upper dentures and hate them. My dentist does implants (has performed 800 implant surgeries) but wants to put 8 implants (instead of all on 4) on top for my daughter and save some of her lower teeth where Clear Choice wanted to extract them all. Clear Choice also wanted us to make a very quick decision in order to save money. This isn't a decision you make in a day. It's a huge expense and I want her to have the best care. She just got another infection and needs something done soon. Btw, I went to a dental school in Philly for a non-implant procedure and was not impressed either. I wish you the best of luck. Will try to post more when we make our final decision. Good luck!

I'm so sorry you are going through this, I hope things get better for you. I considered going to a dental school but I wanted a dentist with a lot of experience doing this, to do this in as few visits as possible.

I’m so nervous but want to get it done as it’s depressing not being able to smile. I see so many good reviews it Ive also seen negative ones about Golpa. Do you seriously have no pain??
November 2, 2019
I’m in s Tampa and been reading the good and bad about Golpa I’m so nervous it will go wrong! And I live to far for an emergency! Was it seriously pain free? I have serious dental phobia! Thanks
User Avatar

I had serious dental phobias too, but I was so sick of dealing with my bad teeth I couldn't take it anymore. I know you are afraid but the Golpa team are very professional and experienced in this procedure and made me feel at ease. I had the same concerns about something needing to be followed up and needing to go back to Dallas but I was determined to get this done. If I have any complications I will deal with them as they come. Depending on the issue Golpas office can refer you to a dentist in your area. I did not experience any pain during the procedures. I took 800mg motrin around the click as directed and never experienced any pain. I stopped taking any pain meds at day 8. Have you looked into having the procedure in Florida?

Can you please tell me if you had your full mouth done, or you just had your upper done. Did you need bone graft also. I’m considering getting all on four in NYC and I need a sinus lift and bone graft. Your teeth looks fantastic.

U had all in 4 top and bottom. My Dr. said my bone was really hard so I required no grafting. Thank you so much

1 am 18 days post eday and feeling great. I have a little bit of numbness in my lower gum area but not anything I need to take pain medicine for. I am not having any problems with eating but I continue to eat food on the softer end of the spectrum. I would say my speech is 95 % back to normal. I am becoming less self conscious about my new smile and find myself smiling more. My teeth feel strong and stable. So far things are going great.

WOW... Perfect beautiful smile. Other than that, Identical results, very light numbness left, but no pain or pressure. For some reason the bottom arch feels like my own teeth, but still getting used to the top one.
User Avatar
August 19, 2019
I feel the same way. My top arch has a space on rt side that food keeps getting caught in. The bottom arch has adequate space for cleaning but not as much as the top.

At 18 days, that's to be expected. You just had a bunch of teeth pulled, and your gums will take time to heal, and for the swelling to go down. When you go back for your adjustment, just make sure you're comfortable with everything before you leave. If possible, stay an extra day or 2. This is something you don't want to rush.
Use the best water pick you can find, and follow the cleaning directions given to you. I know it's not the most comfortable feeling, but it will improve.

Does food get under your new teeth
User Avatar

Food does get under small space between gum and bridges but nothing flosding and water pik can't handle.

I really appreciate your comment because mentally I am struggling with the look of my new smile. I have days when I think it's perfect and others when I feel it looks too perfect. Thank you so much
September 15, 2019
I think I know and understand how you feel, but I think of the alternative; right now, Im walking around with no teeth in my mouth, waiting for NYU to go to the next step in my implant surgery. Its been a journey starting in April with delay after delay, having to see this surgeon, then having extractions done in parts due to some teeth being in precarious positions near facial nerves and all that jazz. My last extractions were done the beginning of this week on Monday, now I have to be seen to make sure Im healing correctly. So, Im looking at you and I dont know you from a can of paint, but your smile fits your face perfectly. Walk like they are a natural part of you and no one will think other wise, thats how I see it, you know what I mean?? Im telling you, you look great!

I have been through so much with my teeth, been having problems since I was a little girl. I am really trying to enjoy my new smile but I think I am a little traumatized from all I've been through. I am si greatful for people like you, who though we don't each other we can relate to the journey of suffering with issues with our teeth. I didn't even realize until I had this work done how deep this is. I really hope you get your new smile soon. This process is very stressful but in the end you will be healthier and happier with your new smile. Thank you for the encouragement and support it means so much because people that are close to me don't understand.
September 18, 2019
I know exactly what you mean! But here's a few things I learned about people, judgement, change and progress; people judge what they dont understand, what they fear, what they are envious of and what they hate.

Simple minded people will always be this way, they can't change they have to WANT to change how they think. Don't judge yourself for wanting and making a change to make yourself feel and look better. When you judge yourself, people will fall in line and judge you right along with you. Walk like it's yours and it is and will be yours. A picture can say a thousand words without ever having a voice to speak. Be your own self fulfilling prophecy and walk how your feel, confident, self assured and beautiful.
Change is hard when we have lived in sadness, despair and what seems like hopelessness for so long, that when the good thing happens, we can't handle it. We sometimes feel like the good thing doesn't belong to us or feel comfortable, like the good thing isnt a "fit". Bring yourself back to the reason WHY you wanted to better yourself, and always remember it and own it.

Progress feeds your soul, not in an egotistical way, but in a spiritual way. It makes you feel more like you, it brings you back to who you are, what guides you to be a better person. You start to thrive in life and become happier about everything around you.
And to think it all started with just fixing your smile :) Take care Gorgeous!

I'll leave 1 more comment about that. I didn't want my bridges to be perfect, or super white. I'll be going to DC in a few weeks to get my bite adjusted. Since 2013, Golpa has come out with new/better bridges. I had the original, titanium, and Zarconia. I'm going to get the latest G4's they've been offering the past couple years. I'd like to get them a bit "flawed", for lack of a better term. I don't want anyone questioning if my teeth are "real". I still comment on here, as I would have wanted opinions from people who have had them for several years. When I first got them, the all on 4 was still rather new, and pretty much unheard of. I don't mind taking a few minutes out of my day to share my experiences

I plan to go to DC for my 1st follow up in January as well. I love my new teeth and those I trust have assured me they don't look fake. I would like them to be a a little "roughed " up too, just to make them more realistic to me. I cant tell you how invaluable your input his to us who are new in this journey. Thank you for taking the time to interact with us and share your words of wisdom and experience. I am looking forward to my 1st follow up to see how things are going and will take your suggestions into account when planning my trip. Looking forward to seeing your new bridges and hear about your experience. As for me, so far so good.

When I get mine, I dont want a super duper white because those dont look real, I plan on getting the same color as my own teeth were, a B2 or similar
