Time for an update
I am hesitating to go back for my finals and considering to try another provider for that. Unfortunately going to another place means probably that they will find reasons to start at 0. And I am not willing to go through that all again.
Having to go back almost every 1 or 2 weeks was very draining. The arches kept breaking and we changed design, material and made more images and more scans and it sill kept breaking. They did not make a night guard for me but I bought it myself from Amazon. It prevented the breaking at night from clinching my teeth. I got a different material and design and the mouth guard and it seemed like it would work. That was the last time I went there almost 2 month ago. It was the last appointment to check the implants and decide if I'm ready for my finals. The osteointegration seemed fine for all but one implant. It failed. There was a very small infection site under the implant that prevented the implant from healing. So Dr. Ho decided to take this one out. My worst nightmare: Injections for local anesthesia. Of course it did hurt and I was close to a panic attack. The removal was quick and painless but Dr. Ho decided to try and place another implant immediately. After he drilled in my upper jaw he changed his mind and did a extensive bone graft in the area. The whole procedure was very uncomfortable. After that I went in after almost 2 weeks to remove the stiches which were not healed all the way and had more scans and it was also the appointment to receive the arches that I am still wearing. When Dr. Ho tried to put in the new upper arch it hurt because my gums were a bit sore but instead of just being careful or using a topical he grabbed the needle and numbed the area without using a topical. When I was moaning and grabbing the chair handles he just giggled and said: see, that is how it hurts without numbing with the topical. No, thank you. That is unacceptable. That is the most horrible bedside manner I ever experienced and it traumatized me even more.
Design is better but there are still too many occlusions. The back teeth are not even touching and I can almost put my tongue between them when biting down and: Surprise.. the upper arch broke yesterday evening without any apparent reason. After almost 2 month. Well, that's a record.
I'm in a dilemma now. I'm really afraid to go somewhere else to being told that it all is not good and it needs to be done again and I wasted 27K. Or I go back there and the torture continues and I end up with failing final Zirconia arches. Thinking positive I could end up at a different provider and he can pick up where I was left and just pay the remaining 12K for the finals or go back and get it at Austin 3D and be happy for the rest of my days. What is putting me off is that I called Austin 3D a month ago telling them that I have the 12K to get the finals and they told me that I have to come in for another check of the implants. I told them that this has been done last time but they insist to check it again. And I am really concerned now. If they have no confidence in their work how can I?
I will attach a pic of the teeth how they look now. But it is not the finals...

Journey continues
I have been back to the office 2 times. My temporaries keep breaking. In my opinion it is a design flaw. The screw hole is right between 2 pre-molars and it makes it weak and prone for breakage. Dr. Ho thinks it is the bite and that it's too long on the upper left. But as a compromise I now have a shorter arch, but the screw hole is in a molar. So let's see if with both opinions we have a fix now that lasts until the important 3 month check. I was told they will remove the arch and check each implant to see if the osseointegration is starting or even progressed. We will decide than on a date to put the final teeth in. Dr. Ho also recommended that we should go with a titanium and zirkonia arch. We will get more stability and also flexibility what will give a better durability. This way the finals will be a bit longer again.
Another current incidence happening on the 5th is that the lower arch broke. It is like a hairline. It didn't break off because it's secured on both sides with implants but I am afraid it will get loose from chewing. I will get a new lower arch next week since it is still the first one. We have a material and color difference between the two arches at the moment. It was not intended but because the upper arch broke a few times it happened that we neglected the lower one. I hope the new lower one will fit as well as the old one.
We also discussed that the upper arch edge is visible when I laugh out loud. And they will fix it with a new arch.
And after putting in the new shorter arch on Thursday the little filling of the screw hole came out and I had to go in today for a 2 minute fix. Coming home, the filling came out again. I'm thinking if I should just wait for next week or waste another hour (30 minutes one way) to have it fixed again.
So far the dental office is working with me and together we are finding the best solution for me. And I'm not blaming them for the problems. I guess sometimes there are just things coming together and that it is not going as smooth as it could have gone. Next update after I get a new arch.

Great Dental Office But...
I decided to have full mouth dental implants done. I found Dr. Ho and his team and the price was reasonable so I decided to go with Austin 3D. Dr. Ho and the rest of the staff are great and they are still trying to do everything to make it a pleasant experience and that the outcome is what I was looking for. That said we hit a few obstacles that I will come to in detail.
I always wanted to have my teeth fixed but I am extremely fearful when it comes to dentists. Some problems that I experienced in the past that would went to far to talk about. So at a certain point I just decided that I had to overcome my fear and at least see what can be done. My whole life I had problems with my teeth and gum no matter how much I brushed. So the only way to have my teeth fixed was to be knocked out, wake up and be done. I pulled my teeth myself before I decided to do implants. I went to ClearChoice and was impressed how nice they were and what information I received. The price was pretty high and so I looked for second choices and that is how I found Dr. Ho. After the initial visit with Xrays and evaluation I was told all looks good and I'm a good candidate for the All-on-4 procedure. And I had my appointment actually a week before September 22 but my blood pressure was through the roof and we postponed. On the 22nd we managed to get it down to a reasonable level to have not such a high risk. I was told about conscious sedation and was in panic what I would actually feel or remember. The IV was set horribly but I guess it is not something they do routinely, so I forgive them the bruising of my arm. But of course I remember a few things and I felt a few things during the procedure. Not real pain but very uncomfortable. I guess the adjusted the sedation and I went back to sleep. It happened 2 times.
I woke up clear and refreshed without pain and without teeth. They had to remove about 20 teeth, had to do some bone grafting, put in 6 posts in the upper jaw and 4 in the lower jaw. They did it in 2 and 1/2 hours. Than I got my temporary teeth and meds to take (a tylenol/codein pain killer and amoxicillin to prevent infections) and was able to leave. I took my meds until the next day but had to drop the pain killer because it interacted with my beta blocker and just took Tylenol what was absolutely sufficient. No real pain at all in the days after. Than I had to drop the antibiotic a day after that because I developed a rash. I don't really know if it was the antibiotic or something else. on the 3rd day I went to the dentist and Dr. Chang tried to remove the temporary to remove the buds and screw in the other temporary. She did not succeed. The bridge got jammed on the buds and to avoid more pain they send me home to heal a bit more. The side that got stuck and where she tried to jiggle it out started hurting. It feels like a overly sensitive tooth and I can't bite or chew on the upper right side until today. The next week on October 1st they finally removed the temporary teeth by cutting the bridge multiple times. The new screwed in temporary teeth looked the same than the first. It is a resin material that just looks fake. Nothing I wanted to walk around with for too long. Dr. Ho said that they would give me nicer looking teeth when we had shape, size and bite fixed. I was not thrilled about that.
Even that I was told I could eat pretty much everything except nuts after several days I just did not have the guts to do it yet. The bite was off. I bit my cheeks and tongue quit a few times my lips were feeling sore from the material and so I stuck with fork very tender foods.
Now to the not so great part... about 1 week after I received the temporaries the left upper side broke of while eating peanut puffs. Very soft snacks. But it broke anyway. The good part was that they fixed the bite a bit and I received a bit nicer temporaries that looked more natural. But than again this nicer looking temporary broke again a week later on the exact same place eating some fried potatoes (not crunchy but soft). Seems like material failure and design flaw to me. Its over a month now and I can't chew on my right side because it is hurting and not on my left because the teeth are breaking of.
I'm really happy with the dental office. They are really trying to do what they can. Especially a young technician (Luke) whos private number I received from him because he wants me to feel very well taking care off. That's going beyond. I was told that I can get as many temporaries I like until I'm 100% satisfied. But the problems I have with the implants... I would like to know if anybody else had problems with temporaries breaking. I can't wait to get my Zirconia teeth in March which are hopefully more durable. But that means another 12K.

Provider Review
Austin 3D Dental
I need to substract stars for the bedside manner of Dr. Ho. He is very funny but has absolutely no filter for anxiety patients. He almost traumatized me even more than I was already.
