G4 by Golpa - Jury is still out!!

I have struggled with dental issues for the past two decades. This really started after my divorce while trying to raise two children with limited finances and periods of no insurance. I learned that trying to play catch up with your dental health doesn’t always work.

I also learned that society judges us harshly when we have decayed or missing teeth. We are stigmatized as having:

1)bad oral hygiene
2)using drugs
3) being smokers
4) having lower IQ’s,
5) being less professional and successful
6) effects social life and self esteem

That is why I felt like this was an investment I needed to make. I received many quotes over a two year period ad Dr. Golpa definitely fell on the lower price point. He was located in Las Vegas and I live in Orange County, CA. This was definitely a concern when making my decision. What if there was issues etc? Then I noticed he had an affiliate in Los Angeles (part of a new program where he is training dentists that can provide after care)

So I went to Las Vegas during a pandemic my family was not happy to have the procedure done. I traveled with my girl friend. I brought two pictures of my natural teeth when they were healthy and was specific about how I wanted them to look.

I scored BIG TIME Dr. Golpa did my procedure and everything seemed OK. Went back to the hotel slept. Went back the next day and I was experiencing pain. The girl that was going to place my bridges was no going to numb me. I said are you going to numb me? She said no you won’t need it. I needed it after 5 min. she got annoyed and called in a Dr. to numb me.

After they places my implants I was asked if I liked them and I said I am in pain and overwhelmed. I woke up swollen and we left for CA the next day. I did notice the teeth were very wide and big. The front teeth were sort along with all the other and didn’t have a natural arching shape towards the back. They felt way to wide.

I waited to show the family and they all said the same thing so I emailed and they said I needed to wait - which is horrible because they teeth are so big and wide (I have a small mouth ) plus I had these done for an event in late December.

I will say that communication has been very difficult I have been trying to get a November appointment for a week now sent three emails with no answer. This is not a good feeling. I am trying to trust the process. I will keep you

Please keep us updated on this. Although their price point is lower than some, you're still paying a pretty penny. I'm sorry your teeth aren't to your liking, but hopefully they will resolve this in time for your event.

I felt the same way at first and you have to wait until all the swelling goes down.. I'm actually going to change my shape but that's in February 4 1/2 months later and you are able to do the same so hang in there.

It has been 14 days for me. I had my teeth done at Golpa's DC office. I feel the same about my 2 front teeth also. It doesn't look like me back when I did have nice teeth. Maybe it is just the swelling. We shall see! Hang in there!!

Thanks for the heads up. What was your price for extractions and the complete total price

I had this done a month ago, and the first week was bad. Make sure you stay on the medication, 24/7, and if you have steroids, take that because that will help the swelling immensely. Stick with soft foods, and protein drinks and smoothies. Swish warm salt water, very gently, for the first week to week and a half. When I got mine, I bought the rules of very thick and wide. These are just my temporaries, because I’m getting zirconia teeth in March. But, what you are feeling is very normal.

Take care.

I live in NYC and had mine done in the Golpa office in Dallas in August 2019. I have had 2 follow ups in the Virginia office. So far my experience has been good. I was lucky, I had very little pain after my procedure. I really like the way my teeth look. I really hope they are able to give you a smile you are happy with. I can tell you that it does get better.

Hi I just would like to know if these are removable I'm not sure what the G4S are

G4 is a hybrid dental bridge containing 12 teeth normally supported by 4 implants. The bridges can only be removed by a G4 office or affiliate without voiding the warranty. The implants are permanent.

Very informative. Thank you for your input.

All my natural teeth and implants were extracted, then a sinus lift, bone graft and 9 implants placed all on the same day. I went back the next afternoon for my bridges. I was without teeth less than 24 hrs. So consultation on day 1, extractions and G4 surgery on day 2 and permanent bridges on day 3.

Looks like the G4 website has been advertising new materials recently - used to be they offered pmma bridges on a titanium bar. Now they are offering nanoceramic or zirconia bridges on a trilor (resin) bar, each at higher price points ($40k for nanoceramic on trilor, $60k for zirconia on triple). Which option did you go with and did they raise the trilor bar options with you?

Hope the procedure goes well and the office becomes responsive. Many people here seem to be happy with the final outcome - look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Is this the total price for everything upper and lower plus extractions?
February 7, 2023
Currently $33,500 for PMMA bridges and $39,500 for nano-ceramic bridges. The prices stated are for both bridges. PMMA bridges have a 2 year warranty and nano-ceramic bridges have a 5 year warranty. Smoking, certain medications and medical conditions will void the warranties. Extra implants, removing old implants, sinus lifts, bone grafts, requesting Dr. Golpa do the surgery and other extra items are all extra costs. Natural teeth extractions are included in the fees listed. I've read they are going up on their prices soon, but I don't know when.

Please go to the G4 by Golpa website and read all the info and watch the videos.
