I'm on the Fence

I'm on the Fence
$35,000
So I had my procedure in the Dallas office October 9th. I had done quite a bit of research for a long time and was super excited about it and how it would change my life and quality of life after I healed and everything was good and well. I was a still anxious after writing a 35k check and not seeing exactly what my bridges would look like after they were made but I tried my best to trust the staff. Dr Anderson was very personable and easy to talk to and explained in detail everything. When it came time to get my bridges the following day, I was so disappointed at how they looked and they had to be redone actually. After going home and the swelling going down, I still am having a hard time because the bottom bridge is so much wider than my gums and my cheeks are just torn up from my teeth naturally scraping them. The bottom bridge shifts constantly on the screws and I feel the screws with my tongue and I'm so nervous it's going to come out all the time. The bridge completely made me look different in my mouth and I talk so weird and my lips are chapped now and I seriously am miserable with this bottom set. It's so bulky and too wide. No one called to check on me after surgery as I was told they would, and that was disappointing thing because you'd think after dropping all that money they could extend a courtesy call.... I had to continuously ask for help to try to get help to bill my insurance ...and I just got a bunch of codes. So in that regard I feel like the experience isn't what they led me to believe and for what we pay....The care of the patient wasn't all there...it was more about getting my money and then dropping me like a bad habit and not at all concerned about my concerns. I'm devastated I'm stuck with this uncomfortable bridge that hurts my cheeks and my mouth and makes me look like a horse....and that's frustrating. The upper bridge is beautiful though. I wish they did the bottom one just as beautiful

I had mine done in 2013. After everything was completed, I did a video for Dr Golpa, that was posted on YouTube.
I can't even watch it today. I was so grateful I almost lost it.
Hindsight being 20/20, I do wish I had gotten them a bit darker, maybe even with some imperfections.
I'll have that taken care of one day. I look at others who got cosmetic work elsewhere, and I've yet to see anyone I thought looked good.
So, I'm on year 7, have had a few issues, but was always taken care of.
I've said this in multiple posts. When you go to Golpa, stay a full week. Make sure you're happy, and comfortable.
Yeah, 35k is a chunk, but far cheaper than anyone I was looking into, better work, and it's supposed to last a lifetime.
35k, won't even get ya a new Honda Accord these days. 35k, for not having to get anymore root canals, fillings, and all that is a hell of a deal, if ya think about it.
7 years, and I still drop by here.
I'm super grateful for Dr Golpa.
They're not mind readers!
If there's something you don't like, speak up.
