8 Week Post OP
WORTH IT$29,000
Not too much has changed. Still wearing compression garment and going to lymphatic drainage massage twice a week. Everything is healing nicely. I do still have a tight burning feeling in my back where all the lipo was done mostly when i get up from laying down or sitting. My stomach still feels pulled so if I’m not wearing a compression garment I do walk a little hunched still. I’m thinking I’ll need a small revision on both hips but waiting to see if it’s swelling or fat/dog ear. I do still have bruising where fat transfer was done so not sure if it is bruising or discoloration of skin. Next appt is on 7th so I’m going to ask.

5 Weeks Post Op - still swollen
Getting back to regular activities. Took the kids to the zoo and the next day I was extra extra swollen. Been wearing compression garment 24/7 obviously except when showering and taking progress pics. Going to get back on my Peloton today and try and get my butt as toned looking as my stomach. Chelsea did warn me that any kind of exercise will make me swell. I did order a seamless one piece compression garment for riding since the other one is more stiff and rubs underneath my boobs causing delayed healing. All the swelling is in lower abdomen, lower back hips and side of boobs. I also still have bruising on side of butt cheeks where my indentions were my indentions were filled (See pics) I also talked to her about he funky spot on my hip incision and if it’s still not flat in 4 months they can fix it.

You look awesome! Wow....l worked out yesterday for the first time in two months. Low cardio on the elliptical and weights but light, and did feel it last night. My chest was sore likely to the increased cardiovascular, lots of pressure. I am going to look at one piece compression too. My doctor did say I longer need to wear it as it was digging in to me under my breasts, but I wear it when I am swollen or for sure and working out.
You look amazing!!!! How are things healing now? You got the same exact thing done that I’ll be getting so I’ve been watching ur journey closely!!! Hope everything is healing healing healing :)
I'm thinking about a tummy tuck. How are you doing 1 year later?

4 Weeks Post Op-Swell Hell
So I kept reading about this swell hell thing and thought I was lucky and made it past it. But even though my drains were barely producing fluid it definitely feels like the swelling got worse after they came out. It feels like the swelling is sitting at the top of my butt and around my incision. I also have quite a bit of swelling on the side of my boobs under my armpits.
I switch off between different compression garments because 1. They are all pretty uncomfortable but if they are not compressing their not doing their job 2. I couldn’t bare the thought of sleeping in the one I wear during the day so I wear a less snug one at night 3. I have a short torso and have had a very hard time finding one that would even work! My favorite one was the one I had after having my kids but it only goes around the waist and not hips and legs so I don’t wear it all the time. With all that said I’m going to make a appt for lymphatic massage and see how that goes. I know patience is really the only thing that will help.
As far as my incisions go they look amazing. Most of the scabs have fallen off and I have a appt tomorrow so I should be able to start silicon tape. I tried on a bathing suit again since my drains are out to see where my scar fell in comparison to my suit and just the corner stick out a little which I can hike up my bottoms a bit and it’s covered. One hip does look a little funky at the end of the incision but I know it’s too soon to judge. Almost standing up straight but not quite.
