A month after op
Funny how everyone says OTM recovery is so easy but it wasn’t for me :-) I was 50% at week three still and now a month after I feel maybe 75% definitely not ready for some arm movements or upper body workout. Boobs are still achy like before period . Incisions are perfect now, just in the fold/ crease so they took time to heal but now are practically invisible . Shape is perfect and size is too. Really liking them now but I’m not going to lie the recovery was so much harder than what I psyched myself up for and expected
Would I do it again?
No but I’m happy I did it. Hope it makes sense. They look great and I never had boobs like that so it’s a new nice feeling. But the 10 days was super painful and anxious for me, as I said I’m normally quite resilient so it was a shock
A week from surgery.. nerve pain and tiredness
I felt great for the first two days and then the pain started.. the nerve pain on the side of one boob was 9/10 and the other boob completely lost any sensation . Regretted the procedure many times this week cause it was much worse than what I expected ( and I am the kind who was up and running up and down stairs cooking dinner 24/h after c section) . I thought this would be easier alas it was 10x worse to me personally. I can’t stand being immobile and the feeling of heaviness on my chest gave me a lot of weird anxiety plus the zingers pain would come when I least expected . I managed to massage my breast gently and found that the nerve pain responded to v gentle touch, it was like my nerves inside were all stretched and confused and stimulating the skin helped them calm down. . Also found tiredness very overwhelming so not used to feeling crap . It lasted all week . Wasn’t my favourite week ever I’ll be honest . On another hand they look really lovely and I’m very pleased with the shape and size. However shape is due to change so will update soon again! Anyway it’s 7 days now and hopefully the worst is behind me. Had a bit more energy today despite zero sleep and pain seemed a bit less. I also had my first shower which helps :-)
