6 months

It’s been awhile since i have been able to post any updates. Here is a before and after six months picture. I will post more pictures of the results soon. But you can obviously see a big difference and the Vaser worked wonderfully for me. The doctor informed me i will get better results after a year. I am still swelling and i am also still having pain in my back area. I will post a picture of my fat transfer results soon.

7 day follow up postop appointment

Went to get my sutures taken out today. The doctor informed me that my results look great so far. But I am still swollen in my abdomen area, I figured that I was. In the first 4-5 days I had lots of fluid in my abdomen area, and it was very painful getting in and out of bed. I could feel the extra fluids moving around in my stomach area. I am still sore and swollen in my abdomen area and the doctor prescribed me Lasix to get some of the fluids off of my abdomen area. I have another appointment set for 7 days from now with the doctor. Looking forward to see some of the swelling go down so I can show a nice flat belly. I can see a big difference in my belly but at this time it is still very swollen.

Compression Garment Too Tight

My compression garment that was given to me by the doctors office was too tight (size XL). You can see in my photos how tight it was on my legs and around my waist. I could barely stand and I was bent over when I walked and I could feel the faja rubbing against my back only after 4 days of surgery. I decided to cut the legs of the faja because every time I tried to walk around, I could hear my heart beating in my ears and I felt dizzy like i was going to faint. I also used my apple iWatch to measure my blood pressure and it was very high. It was cutting off my circulation in my legs and I got blisters from the tightness of the garment on my thighs and numbness in my legs from the circulation being cut off. It was very painful, it felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife in my thighs. I knew at that moment that it was too tight when it took my husband I and I both to put it back on after we washed it. I already had a spanx type garment at home that is my correct size 2xl, and I put that on for now until I can order another one and I feel so much better the feeling in my legs are coming back and the blisters are going away. My blood pressure has gone down and I am in a lot less pain than I was before. So my advice is if you feel that your garment is way too tight, don't wait. Take it off asap and get another one that is your size. Everyone's body is different, so you can't expect everyone to wear the same size garment that a person with a different body type, height, or weight can wear. Make sure you get a garment that fits your size and body type, because getting one from the doctors office may not be good enough for you in your healing process and can affect your results and cause you health problems.

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
350 Bon Air Rd., Greenbrae, California

My first interaction with the doctor was great. He answered any questions that I had about the procedure and assured me that the procedure is safe and he has years of experience. As time goes by I will update the experience that I have with the provider. I will also provide a real time update as the procedure is completed.
