Currently the appointments have been made for preop, surgery, and post operation. The experience has been all about the research at this point. Real self.com is a great website that provides all of the answers to the questions you have from doctors all around the world. My chosen provider has also been great with answering questions and providing me with information about the procedure. At this point I am excited to get the procedure done, after spending weeks researching the procedures and down time on this website and on the internet.

Pre Opperation Appointment completed
The pre-op appointment was a success, the before photos were taken and the procedure is paid in full. The nurse went over all of the things that should not be done before the surgery, and I got lots of great information and questions answered from the nurse and doctor. I have finally gotten excited, but I am nervous at the same time. The Doctor informed me not to worry, and he will take care of me. I have never had any surgery on my body, so this is all new to me. I never thought I would be getting this type of procedure done to my body. But here I am, and there is no turning back now if I want to get rid of this pesky fat that never goes away no matter how much I work out. I only have two more weeks to go before surgery day. I got all of my prescriptions filled, and I have been putting together a care kit of items that I will be using during the healing process. The nurse informed me that I would need plenty of pillows and plenty of towels. So I went out and bought all of the extras for post-op. I spoke to the Doctor about sitting on my bottom after the fat transfer is completed, and he informed me that it is ok to sit on the buttocks because the fat transfer won't be in the area you sit on. But I am going to be very careful not to sit on the fat transfer areas so I can get the best results. I have also been staying hydrated and making sure that I get plenty of exercise on a daily basis and continue to eat a well balanced and healthy meal before my surgery. I figure since I will be exercising for the rest of my life, why not go ahead and get motivated and get my new exercise routine rolling since I won't be able to workout for a few weeks after my surgery.

Getting ready for surgery
I have filled my list that was given to me by my provider and I'm ready to go. I have been thinking about the look that I am going to work to achieve after my surgery. I will be working out hard in my home gym once I am able to work out again.
