35 Days away from a Tummy Tuck

WORTH IT$15,550
Hi everyone. I'm a mother to two beautiful children. I'm done having kids and lost the baby weight, so I'm ready! I always knew I would get a tummy tuck. After my first child, my muscles separated. I decided then and there, that after my second (and final) I would do this. I have been researching doctors, the procedure, before and after care etc for YEARS. I'm excited to finally be getting this done. At the moment I'm taking iron to keep my hemoglobin level up, cutting out sugars and most carbs, drinking green tea and exercising daily. It's best to go in as fit and small as possible for the best results. I'll keep you posted.

New surgery date

I went to see my doctor today. I was diagnosed with a hernia :-( He will repair it during the procedure. New date is August 12th. I’m a bit bummed because I feel like my body fell part. Diastasis recti, hernia. Plus, my surgery is now 42 days away. I need to loose about 5 pounds.
On a good note, I’ll be getting muscle repair, lipo to waist, bra fat area, flanks plus he’s going to fill out my hip dips with fat transfer. I’m excited about that. I’m so ready to be done.

My new surgery date is August 12. I was told I have a hernia :( My doctor will repair it during my tummy tuck. I feel a bit down. My date is further out than I thought and I have a hernia. My diastasis recti is bad. I just want this process to be done.

Yes!!! Next week. 5 days away. I can't believe it's finally happening after all these years. I'm filled with so many emotions, but I'm ready. Pre op went really well. Thank you for the well wishes. I will update next week.

Hey, chica, only a few days to go! I'm excited for you. I'm pretty sure I have hernias, too. I feel them hurt sometimes, when I twist my torso. It's cool that you'll get two good things done at once: you'll get to look *and* feel better, afterwards. I had a hysterectomy last year, so I totally get the nerves thing. I want to encourage you, so I'll say: 1. nurses rock, and 2. you've *got* this. For the hospital, the best things for me were my eyeshade/sleep mask, and my earplugs. They let me sleep no matter how much light or sound was happening, & sleep is so good for healing. Other than that, maybe a spare battery pack for your phone, which I didn't have.

Hey, Chica, you got through all the "before" stuff. Yay! And, phew. No more dread for you: just onward, head down, powering through your healing (with many power naps). Hope you have good care now, with loving encouragement and support. I'm rooting for you, and looking forward to hearing how you're doing, when you're ready to post. Take excellent care of you!
