I met with Dr Hassan for information on rhinoplasty on an ethnic nose hoping he would be able to give me an improved nose that suits my face without losing its ethnicity. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He thoroughly explained the procedure and how he would tackle such work on my face considering my thicker skin and wide base. I was so happy with the consultation that I didn't go anywhere else. I haven't had my surgery yet but I'm very confident in his work and am booked in for October!

You have good reason to be optimistic as you mentioned; it looks so good, so natural. I don’t notice the swelling. I was going through your initial “wish” pics, but then “I cheated” and scrolled back to see your final pic. It looked so good, I thought it was another “wish” pic! You chose a great surgeon! And so wise to do it now, while young. You have years ahead to enjoy it. I have a similarly shaped nose as you had but it’s kind of late in the game for me now. Maybe if I had had RealSelf back in the day...

I haven’t experienced any drastic changes in my nose in the last four months. I think because I haven’t massaged by nose at all since I first learnt how to, the swelling is going down very slowly. I am in no rush though as I am very used to my nose now and appreciate the modest improvement in symmetry and size. I am excited to see the results over the next 18 months.

I'm doing well, Karla! I was MIA from here as well. Back to do another review. Nose is ok, I guess. I still love my bridge, but hate my nostrils. Hate the placement of the scars, and one side didn't heal as expected, not to mention, they're symmetry issues as well. Very disappointed, but will have it corrected at the end of the year.

7 Weeks Post Op

Lots of swelling still which is because I haven’t been massaging my nose as I should have but I’ll get back to that. There’s less stiffness in my nose and it’s less uncomfortable when I scrunch up my nose.
