Saved my Nose. Toronto, ON

I had decided to have a septo/rhinoplasty in 2011 choose the doctor( Nolan Kane) through word of mouth. To make a long story short. He ruined my nose , three surgeries he performed on me trying to correct the damage he did. I suffered serious emotion anguish. I hated my nose. I could not take pictures anymore.It looked like a bird bit off one side of my nose. I had to find a surgeon that was more than capable to reconstruct my badly damaged nose. I looked for the best rated rhinoplastic surgeon (on ratemds) that specialized in reconstruction. I found Dr Oakley smith he was rated #1 out of ten surgeons for rhino reconstruction. I went in for a consultation and booked my surgery as soon as my consultation was over. The surgery lasted 7.5 hours.( look at the time he puts in) The man had to take cartilage out of my ribs and rebuild my nose. It was so badly damaged I had no good cartilage left in my nose. And that wasn't the end of it. I still had to have another surgery because my rib cartilage had to settle ( he did just build me a new nose with my rib cartilage) for the next year before Dr Smith could reshape my nose. The second and last surgery was in Febuary. It lasted 4.5 hours. This goes to show how much time Dr Smith puts in for his patients. He is very thorough and the best artist I know. I am at 3 months post surgery extremely happy. I take pictures now, I love looking at my self. My nose looks so natural you would not even think I went through 5 years of 5 surgeries. I sure hope whoever may be reading this really chooses the right doctor and that my review can be helpful in that process.
