Scarring update
People really wanted to know how my scars looked. This is 1 year 9 months on. I mean it's still not great but I can live with it. Also you may notice a darker patch on one of my breast. I had postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. Greatly improved with some vitamin E oil

22 Y/o No Children, Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Without Implants
Growing up, I've always had breast sagging. I think it was down to genetics, not wearing properly fitting bra growing up and the largeness of my chest (I was an E cup, my older sister is a B cup and has lovely perky breast).
It really affected my self-confidence and I never went braless even in the house on my own.
I was inspired by a friend who had gotten surgery when we were 17. I managed to save enough and get the surgery done and I couldn't be happier.
I'm only writing this review because I personally found them so helpful when I was looking into everything.
I went with The Harley medical group. My surgeon was Mark Solomos. He was lovely and treated me well. Had to make the full payment 6 weeks before the surgery. Total cost was £5250
My surgery occured in September 2018 at Highgate hospital (very lovely hospital), I did it as a day case so was second on the list.
My first time under GA, I was nervous but it felt fine. I just remember them talking to me, feeling sleepy and then before I knew it I was waking up and a stranger was calling my name.
I was told the surgery took 1.5-2 hours and then I continued to sleep for another 2 hours in recovery. It literally felt like 10 seconds and I was awake. And it felt like I was waking up from the best sleep of my life! I felt so cold post op and groggey.
The pain, at first I just felt a little tender. I didn't really want to move around. I had to so that they could let me go home. And I had to drink and eat. I left by about 5pm. The journey home was the most painful experience of my life. I actually stayed with a friend and she looked after me for a few days.
I went back to university the following week against doctors orders. But it wasn't too bad. The problem was the hugs. Too many people trying to hug me. But I recommend following all instructions your doctor gives you!
My breast looked so beautiful and full after surgery. The swelling made it look like I got implants too. After 2 months the swelling went completely down and I lost the fullness at the top. The surgeons talk about when the breast drop. Don't be too discouraged mine have dropped, but I'm still happy with my results. I was told I'm gonna have to wear a bra all the time to slow down future sagging.
My nipple sensation came back within the first week on one side. First it was shooting pain and overly sensitive then it calmed down after 2 weeks. The other nipple took it's sweet time to come back, I thought it was never coming back. After 4 months it's now back, still struggling to feel temperature but I can definitely feel touch.
I went back to the gym after the 8 weeks I was told to take off. May have overdone it a little but I really missed the gym.
The scars were the worst bit for me. They had an intense burning sensation but I never really took painkillers after the first week, even then paracetamol was enough to subside things. Then I had to go back to get my steristrips removed. My eyes stung with how painful that was. I had a little wound break down at the junctions but just a few plasters for 3-4 days and it stopped. My scars continued to burn when touched for at least 6 weeks. After that it would burn randomly. Now after 4 months it no longer burns at all.
I'm black and I have hyperpigmentation in my scars. One thing that did annoy me about the doctor and nurses was that they kept saying my scar would get lighter, but I knew better. If you're black, it's unlikely your scar will get lighter it's more likely it will get darker. I have some hypertrophy in the scars under the crease of my breasts but the verticle scar lies flat.
You'll see a before picture and after picture. I'm now a 32DD (down from 32E) but I fluctuate throughout my menstrual cycle.
Anyways I hope this review was useful and if you have any questions you can comment them below. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures during the healing process but I don't mind taking some more pictures at 6 months (March) and at 1 year (September?)
Only advice I have is that if you've got the means to do your surgery then do it! I haven't regretted even with the scars.
Thank you to Mark and the Harley medical group!

Noted dear,I have always dreamt about reduction without implants and no touch on my nipples which am not sure if the surgery can be possible,I'm still searching tho.good luck with yr results.
Thank you for you sharing, I’m very young too, and I would love to fix my sagging breasts due to a dramatic weight loss, I’m just scared about the scars, I have some strecht marks too so I wouldn't mind to get some laser or similar treatment to make them less noticeable, how are your scars?, have they become less apparent?
