At 57 years old I decided it was time to take care of something that has bothered me for several years. In my mid to late 40s I started to develop looseness and jowls in my lower face. I try to eat healthy and stay fit, however I felt each time I looked in the mirror my face did not match the way I felt inside. For several years I hoped that this feeling would go away. I was really nervous about doing something that would require general anesthesia and significant downtime. I feel so very fortunate to have found Dr. Mark Karolak. He does all of his procedures under local anesthesia in Martinsville N.J. The thought of having a lower facelift done under local made me feel more excited about moving forward. The best part of moving forward was meeting Dr. Karolac. Dr. Karolac is one of the most down to earth, caring physician's I have ever met. He made me feel at ease about my decision to move forward. He took his time and explained everything to me in detail. The day of procedure I can honestly say I did not feel a thing. Before I knew it the procedure was over and I was on my way home with my husband to recuperate. What surgeon today provides you with his personal cell phone number in case you have concerns? Dr Karolak does!!!!. Although I did feel some tightness after the surgery I did not have any post operative pain to speak of. I had the procedure done on a Tuesday and went back to work the following Monday. I had some swelling and minor bruising, but looked so much better than prior to having the procedure done. Having this lower facelift done with such a skilled and meticulous surgeon, has changed my life. I feel happier and more confident with the way I look. I had the procedure done 5 months ago, and feel bad that it has taken me this long to share. I highly recommend Dr Karolak. Make an appointment to see how he can change your life. All of the staff at Reflections Center is very caring and supportive. I am working on before and afters and will add them as soon as possible.
