My journey with Dr Rao has been simply one of exceeded expectations. Of the procedures that I undertook with him, his skill in creating a new pectoral for my chest was nothing short of excellent. I have been suffering this embarrassing body condition for 25 years and I lost belief after numerous failed consultations with doctors overseas who told me nothing could be done or had little or no expertise in Polands syndrome, it was fate which lead me to Mumbai and to Dr Aamod Rao. The improvement has been so dramatic and I would happily say that my chest is 90-95% perfection just 4 days post surgery with room for more improvement as the healing process continues. I strongly endorse him as a surgeon, a doctor, and a kind compassionate human being who certainly has a gift for what he does. I would recommend anybody with Polands Syndrome and any other cosmetic improvements/procedures to take a step forward for the solution is here. The hospital where I underwent the surgery has the best support staff and nurses that I’ve seen even compared to the regular wards in Australia where you’re just left on your own. Beam Hospital is a small private hospital just 100metres from Dr Aamod Rao’s clinic so travelling is not an issue. The nurses do their rounds in short intervals making sure you’re always cared for, along with the doctors on shift. The room is personalized private with a shower and wifi, and its perhaps the best private ward that I have had stayed in. The rates are very reasonable and match up to the 4 star hotel prices around Mumbai and its completely safe. I was personally touched by how well they took care of me post op and it had a very warm family feeling. The anesthesiologist was friendly and made me feel just at home when I was in the operating theatre.
Overall like I said, I was blessed to have had this opportunity to finally fix my deformity and that assurance alone has been priceless.
