I took up the offer on non-peroxide teeth whitening and my whole experience left me miserable. Dr Favero told me he didn't like to whiten teeth (er...why offer it then?) before spending an hour trying to "hard sell" me thousands of pounds worth of veneers which I didn't want.
The only way to do this is by relentlessly criticising your teeth. This just makes you feel bad about yourself. He eventually allowed teeth whitening but had his assistant move the light onto my bottom teeth after five minutes so that the bottoms were whiter than the top. Presumably so I'd go back. I visited my own dear dentist who agreed that the whitening offer was probably a ruse to sell cosmetic dentistry. He agreed that I don't need it.
Don't fall for it.
