WORTH IT
I am So grateful that my GP recommended Dr Moss. She said she knew someone in the [cosmetic] industry who had stated “I wouldn’t let anyone but Dr Moss touch my face”. My GP had described his work as “amazing” but I just wanted to look like me, granted the 10 years ago me...
As you only have one face and it’s the accessory you wear all day, every day, I chose the long term effect of a SMAS facelift versus just stretching the skin as I wanted the “everyone will notice but no one will know” natural look.
Undeniably, Dr Moss is the most skilled surgeon, calm and precise, and like his team, friendly, caring and professional. I appreciated the holistic approach and more than anything, the detailed information, which was invaluable. But what was really important to me, is that they listened and responded to all my expectations and concerns. I am happy to say that the results have far exceeded my expectations.

Just keeps getting better and better - the girls are great though, still ringing to find out how I am progressing. Thank you!

It would be great if you could tell us how much you paid so we would have a rough guide to costs.

If you want a rough guide for costs, he quoted $20,000 for rhinoplasty while other surgeons quoted in the range of $9,000-$13,000. Perhaps a rough guide to facelift costs would be find out the average cost of facelists and multiple it 1.4-2.2.

That was also four years ago he quoted me that. He also charged $150 for an initial consult with his nurse, then $500 or so for a consult with him.

As someone else put it - you get what you pay for. I receive compliments like "you look great" versus "oh you've had some work done". Sometimes the best isn't the cheapest, as in the case of my friend who paid $10,000 for a facelift. She doesn't know yet what the cost of the repairs will be... There are so many extras that Dr Moss doesn't mention, either because he doesn't consider them an extra or maybe he doesn't want his competition to do a cheaper version of what he provides.
Thank you so much for sharing your opinion about your doctor.
I would love to add your experience to the SMAS Facelift community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. This will mean we can add your review to the topic and it will bring more people to your page, giving you more support. I suggest adding before and after photos - optional of course - so that other community members can use your review as a guide throughout their journey.
