I really disliked my nose for many years, just like many people here. At the end of 2014 I finally made a decision to go ahead with the surgery. I also had severe nasal blockage and I could not sleep well. I woke up several times during the night and was always tired during the day.
I always felt ugly and never liked my face. Every time I looked at my nose I wanted to cry. I never wanted to take pictures of myself, especially profile pictures. I had a really masculine, roman nose and what bothered me the most was the bump and high bridge. Dr. Shah pointed out that what will change my face the most is getting read of the bulbous tip that I had and he was so right. I asked if there were any other procedures he would do to make my face prettier and he said my cheekbones and chin are nice and do not need any changes. I never felt pressured by him to get anything done. He was very calm and took his time with me.
Seriously, this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love my front view and my profile and I'm only 6 weeks post op. I'm more than happy with my result. I feel so good about my face. I was told by friends and family to accept what God have me or go get therapy. I'm so glad I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I feel like a new me and it's only a small change to my nose. I feel beautiful now. I love putting on make-up and before my attitude was "why bother, make-up can't help me, I'll still look ugly".
I went back to school 6 days after surgery and no one noticed I had anything done. I only got comments that I look fantastic.
I really do not want to post pictures because I am paranoid that someone I know will see it. Only a handful of close family and friends know I had this procedure done. But if anyone is serious about going to Dr. Shah I am more than happy to share my pre and post op album that I prepared. Just message me and I'll send you a link.

Yes. I have a slight bump on my bridge. My tip is perfect and the bump is barely noticeable so I have not decided if I want to get the bump removed. I will have to go for an in office procedure and I'm already so satisfied with my nose that I don't know if it will make an overall difference. I wish that bump wasn't there but it's not something I worry about.

Wow, I saw your album.. it looks great! Thanks for sharing. I haven't decided to if i will see shah for rhino. There so many doctors in chicago... Im not sure who to choose from. Also did you check any other docs before shah. I was wondering why did you pick him?
