10 months post op, i have enlarged follicles on my forehead, minimal hair growth. Disfigured forehead. Absolutely depressed and embarrassed when people ask if i have rash infection on my forehead. I totally regret this surgery. I Wish I could get my bald forehead back. Am so so so disappointed. I Just don't know what to do now.

So from your pictures it does not look too bad. Have you contacted the doctor, what did he say? 2. Are you using any growth aids such as Rogaine, Biotin? natural oils etc? what is your routine? It does take longer for some people's hair to grow and until 12 months have passed I would say give it some more time and call Dr. Diep to see what he suggests.

Dear Sonata Thanks for your support. I contacted dr diep but they insisted i have to wait one yr post op before he can consult with me again even though my scalp was being eaten up by folicitis (as i later discovered was one of the major problems) . Post op i used rogaine and some oils but i later stopped because diep mentioned i didnt have to use it forever. But i resumed again with the rapid deterioration in growth. I am now using rogain, jamaican black castor oil, biotin shampoo, oral antibiotic, oral biotin and hairfinity suppliments. So hopefull there should be improvement.

Hi, did you contact Dr Diep? What did you do to your hair post op ? How many grafts did you receive ?

Hi, yes i contacted dr diep and alli got was either voice mail or his assistants telling me the only time i can have a consultation with him is one year post op. Meanwhile i had to deal with acute folliculitis as i later diacovered through intense reserch and a dermatologist Who was skeptical about treatment because he wasn't sure of what the effects will be on the hair growth. But since the it kept on getting worse and dr diep insisred there was no infection from photos i sent to them we had no choice but to start treatment with antibiotic. Luckily it responded and those pluggy rashes have started fading gradually. Post op i cut my whole hair low so i could treat both the donor and graft site properlly. I was using the ointment they gave me in the hospital for the scar and for the graft i was using rogaine and natural oils at some point i stopped using rogain (after 3 bottles) because diep mentioned i dont have to use it permanently. But now with the rapid deterioration in growth i restarted it and am also using jamaican black castor oil. Its seems to be working......i hope*smile* but overall i am not getting the result i hoped for.

Using biotin shampoo and suppliments as well.
February 10, 2015
This is great that you are using the natural oils. My doctor told me it was important to continue using Rogaine which as you know takes time to work as well. The supplements and healthy life style are all a plus. For now be patient, not everyone has the same level of growth in the same amount of time. What is most troubling is the fact that you have not been able to speak to your doctor about your concerns.

If u r still braiding Ur hair, maybe u stop for now. "Formula 50 for hair and nails" hair vitamins will also help. It's in a red n white plastic by Marlyn. Try it. Give it time to start working. I hope it will turn out good for u. I know how it feels to loose Ur hair n Ur feeling of " beauty." I m struggling with that now. I spoke to one of his references, she told me she is happy with her result. I really don't know what to do anymore about mine.

Hi i had about over 3700 grafts. And it seems I need more. Can i see your results please.
February 16, 2015
Ok so you had a really big session. I think the reason they keep telling you that you have to wait a year to do another consult is because they like to wait up to a full year to determine your results. I hope he will are things right with you when it's time. If you click on my name my review should come up
February 16, 2015
I'm sorry. I meant to say, I hope he will make it right with you.

February 17, 2015
Thanks. And I believe in my heart that he will make things right with you. So just try to be patient until your 1 year post op and demand he redo your transplant. Good luck with everything. Have faith that everything will be ok.
