Getting my Permalip implants

I am on my Day 6 ( full 5 days after surgery) after getting Permalip implants. Initially I was going to get 5mm implants for top and bottom but on preop appointment doctor told me that the largest size often leads to complications but they never have problems with medium size 4mm. He told me that he was suggesting to stop using 5 mm for lip augmentation. I was very scared of getting any kind of complications or "sausage" look of my lips so I decided to go with 4mm for top and bottom since my doctor recommended it.
I had my surgery under local anesthesia, honestly getting dental block was quite painful but I got numb pretty soon so it wasn't long. During the surgery I didn't feel pain but felt all the tucking, pulling, stretching and pressure. So it's a little scary and I was happy to be done in about 40 minutes or less. After surgery my lips were swollen and numb but didn't hurt bad. I took a pain killer and was applying ice. It was hard to drink or talk but not too bad.
After the very first day I didn't take any pills for pain because it was no need. Every day my lips were feeling better and less swollen. Eating, talking gets easier. Today was full 5 days after my surgery and my lips don't look swollen anymore, feel much better and not as stiff. I still try do not move them much since I m taking my stitches out after tomorrow. Now I only hope that my lips want get smaller because if they do I will probably be a little dissatisfied with the level of enchantment. Now I m thinking if I had to go with 5mm at least for my top lip. Well I will be sharing my experience here and posting some pics so stay tuned all who is interested in getting Permalip)))
So it's been two and half weeks after my surgery. The swelling went all down but I have concerns about my lower lip. I love my upper one. It feels good and I like the look but my lower lip first of all looks like not really symmetric if you look closer. And to my eye it looks straighter and wider than it used to be. I added pictures so when I try to purse my lips my lower lip is all crooked. I work as a model and today I had a photoshoot and keep thinking of how my lips look like and on many pictures I don't really like my lower lip. Also if it makes sense I feel that after smiling it takes time for my lower lip get not as wide, it's like it looks even more straight and wide after I smile big. I dint guys tell me what you see. Tomorrow I have appointment with my doctor about the symmetry of my lip. But thinking of taking my lower implant out, leaving only tip one. Will see what my doctor says. May be it was too long implant for me, I don't know ( 60mm) . But as for moving my lips it's going good.
Recovery takes longer than just waiting until the swelling will go down. It took for me at least a month to get closer to my initial lip shape but with fuller lips. I barely feel implants only if rub my lips together. Very happy I did them. Sometimes I wonder how 5 mm looked like and wish them to be just slightly bigger but largest implant size can create more complications in lip movements so I don't know how they would feel with 5mm implants.
