My experience with Austin Urogynecology and Dr. Shashoua was superb. I met with him for a consultation. The staff answered all of my questions and relieved any concerns I had. The front office staff isn't the friendliest (consistently), but the Dr. and nurses more than make up for the bad first impression at the desk. The procedure itself was quick and I was home within a few hours. They recommended 2-3 days off work, but I probably needed more. Recovery was quite painful and the swelling was concerning, so I went for my post-op appt a bit early. Dr. Shashoua let me know that everything I was experiencing was completely normal, and I left the office feeling better almost instantly. Overall, amazing experience.
