I really want to use prescription grade Retin-A, however the USA currently requires all prescriptions to be tested on animals and I was wondering if you knew any countries that do not require animal testing, so I can look into getting a cruelty free prescription? Thank you!

Started using the cream 5 nights ago, the peeling started after night 2. Is it really worse sticking with it? Can I dilute it with my nightly facial moisturizer? I'm nearly 33 and have started using it for its anti aging benefits, I do not suffer with acne, just the odd pimple. Will it make the broken capillaries worse (on chest and face). I want the capillaries gone, will this cream help over...

I am a 47 year old black American female. I have been using this for about a month. I noticed my complexion has darkened. After reading some of the Q&A, I could be using too much or too often. Will my complexion return if I cut back on the usage. My complexion is worst now then before I started the spironolactone and using the retinol.

But after 4 weeks my skin is oily and getting pimples , I used it with cetaphil gentle cleanser , is it normal? Thanks

I’m in my mid twenties & struggle w/ adult acne. Through trial & error over the years I’ve found that retinoids really help and I definitely get better results when I use them in both my AM & PM skincare routine. I use low-strength adapalene in the morning & moderate strength tretinoin at night because my skin doesn’t tolerate high-strength tretinoin. I’ve recently read that ma...

Hello. Knowing tretinoin and my love for the sun and the beach (especially since I live in Hawaii), is the use of tretinoin not fit for me? Can you still stay under the sun while on tretinoin? Are sunscreen while on tretinoin the night prior good enough? If not, what skincare treatment would be better for me that would give me the same antiaging effect and clear skin? I love tretinoin so much,...

Im a 50 year old male. I have small skin colored (slightly red) bumps, all over my forehead, jawline and on cheeks. They dont hurt, they dont flare up, they dont become pimples (black heads or whiteheads). They are just bumps. The photo here is after i have just applied Tretinoin 0.1% for the first time, which is why it appears very red. My face is red, but not that red. Any advice on this...

Can we store Retina-A and azelaic acid cream in the refrigerator? I have been storing them in a dark place but the temperature is more than 25 degrees outside. How and where to store these creams?

I have been using Retin A until I found that I'm pregnant. I didn't know that a pregnant lady shouldn't use Retin A. Now, I'm 10weeks already and I stop using it when I was 5 weeks. What should I do? would it harm my baby? What are the birth defect that would cause to my baby? Did anyone out there has the same experience as me? My OB asked me to consider abort the baby. I'm...

I've used Retin A under my eyes every night for 3 nights trying to get rid of the crepiness & moderate lines, but now the area from the inner corner to my cheek is even more crepey, with what look like enlarged skin cells...There's no redness, but I applied Burt's Bees moisturizer with royal jelly, which is soothing but has done nothing to get rid of the crepiness. How do I fix this and...

Altreno 0.05 - in micropheres Curology .05 tretinoin, 5% azelaic acid, 4% niacinamide - slowly increasing the tretinoin percentage Is there a benefit to switching to Curology for more actives and increasing the tretinoin percentage or best to just stick with Altreno for the long haul?

I have been using tretinoin for a week my skin is dry can I wash my face in morning with water then put vitaminE moisturizer

I used to live in Washington state, but I've moved to another country with high sun exposure. Any suggestion? thanks anyway:)

Please help in a routine that will fix a damaged skin barrier that is dehydrated, this has been going on for a few months, and been to a dermatologist who suggest ONLY moisturizing if skin is dry otherwise dont moisturize. I understand i should keep my routine simple but how do i repair my skin barrier when its dehydrated, (not dry or flaking) and am experiencing transepidermal water loss?...
