I just had my first laser tattoo removal session 2 days ago and I'm not experiencing any of the blistering and scabbing I was warned about. There is some minor inflammation but other than that, the treated area looks/feels fine. I also don't see much of a difference with the tattoo (I realize it will take 6+ sessions but I was expecting better results after the first session). Does it take a few days/weeks for the body to absorb the ink or should I assume the treatment wasn't very effective?
This tattoo was my 4th and done with a lot of thought and research put in to it....but at the end of the day it's not what I originally had in mind. First of all, it's larger then I originally wanted and the shading outside of the outline is darker and wider then I had hoped for. This tattoo is now a week old and still peeling. What can I do? Is there anyway to lighten up the shading outside of the turtle? Uhhh help!
I've had this tattoo for about 3 years now and it's starting to really irritate me. Actually, it makes me uncomfortable. The mere sight of it is really heartbreaking to me. I've decided to get it removed as soon as possible. But I've only started learning about laser treatment and so forth. I'm absolutely clueless about it and I'm looking for someone to fill me in a bit so that I don't end up in a situation even more stressful than the one I am in now. So, please. Help me!
I am using TCA (currently at 20%) to fade/remove a tattoo on my arm. My question is, do these peels go deep enough to fade/remove a tattoo? If not (other than laser) is there another approach with minor risk of scarring?
