Had a septoplastia rinoplastia (more septoplasty) on my right nostril as I couldn't breathe through it properly. Just had the surgery and upon checking when lifted my face to check my nostrils, it appears the outside tip of my nose appears bent? Also I was told excess cartilage was to be removed from my right nostril but still appears from the outside wider (sticking out) more than the left cartilage of the nose? Is this all normal for recovery?
My nose is bended towards one side and i am also having breathing issues, so if I do septoplasty will both these be cured. Will I be able to get a straight nose? I can't breath during sleep especially on one side and it is becoming really tough with time.
At about a month the doctor said my nose appears to be bending back again and that the cartilage has memory. He suggested that a few times daily I bend the cartilage slightly toward the other direction. Does this sound correct? How many times would you recommend daily and how long to hold the nose?
Symtoms: unable to fully breathe. Nostrils go inward when breathing in. I'm able to twist the nose very easily to one side of the nose. There's an obvious depression/bent. Reason for surgery: tip and slightly smaller profile Hello! I've been having trouble breathing and I've been having issues accepting my nose. There's a few reasons why. With the help of the photos, what could be wrong with my nose?
