Retin-A + Pitted Scar Q&A

Just curious - if I continue using tretinoin, will my pitted scarring eventually get better? I get microneedling once a month @ 1.5mm, use retin-a 0.025% every M, W, Th, F and Sunday and use 0.01% as a mask for 30 min short-contact therapy every Tues and Sat. I know I can get better results with TCA, lasers etc. ( and I do get them a few times a year) but just curious to know if my skin care routine does anything at all or if it's just for mitigation of fine lines. I have been on tretinon .025% for 10 months now. My acne has significantly reduced but I'm worried about some deep scars and enlarged pores that I have which are more noticeable in the sun. My derm ended the treatment from applying tretinoin everynight to 2 days per week further in future. I don't want to undergo abrasive treatments and would like to know if they'll reduce with overtime use?

I know retinoids like Retin-A and Tazorac remodel collagen in the dermis, so if one uses them at a high strength for many years, can they eventually get rid of indented scarring and other skin imperfections completely?
