I'm 27 old and I have childhood scars and dark spots on my face. Combination skin more of the dry side if I to use retin A . Can I use it with regular moisturizer like Olay night cream or a Bioderma moisturizer? I live in a hot, humid and dusty area (Middle East). I don't leave the house that much but I use the AC a lot in here so It could be drying.
I have a dark scar on my leg which I want to try to get rid of or lighten as much as possible. I have both Retin A .1% and hydroquinone 4%. How to I apply these two on my scar?. Do I combine them and then put it on my scar or do I have to put them separately and if so when/how? And which one do I put on first?
Dear doctors, I am prescribed 2% hydroquinone and am told to use it together with Retin A. Do I have to wait in between applications for absorption? I also have a moisturizer as well and I use it after applying Hydroquinone > Retin A > Moisturize with no wait time in between. I'd appreciate all the doctor's advise!
I use the Hydroquinone in the day and Tretinoin at night, is this the best method of application? The before picture was taken in a very lighted bathroom so it makes my skin look lighter, but it is only shown to show the dark patches were not as prevelant and in some areas not there. There are also sections of small bumps. What is happening to my face? Please help. Also what would be a good otc remedy for dark circles under my eyes? Thanks
I have a sunspot over my lap. I was prescribed Hydroquinone 4%. I have been applying it for three months and Unfortunately have not noticed a change. Can I use Retin-A to accelerate the process?
Hi, I'm using Retin A and hydroquinone for my acne. I was told to stop using hydroquinone after 6 months because it will stop working or cause darkening of skin Do I have to stop using it. Because I was thinking that if the Retin A is renewing skin cells, then the hydroquinone shouldn't have any reverse effects. Is this true? Or should I just stop my routine?
I am having a poor response to laser on my lower leg pigment spots and vasulature. I'm just wondering if I could use the same facial treatment on my legs that really helped reduce pigment on my face? This was medical grade skin treatment such as retinol, tretinoin, c-bright, hydroquinone etc... dermatologists, what do you recommend?
