Kind Doctors, i've had monovision PRK surgery 2 years ago, on my right eye. My prescription before the surgery was: -1.0 Right, -0.75 left. It seems that now i am: +0.75 right (+1.0 in Cycloplegia) and still -0.75 left (-0.50 in Cycloplegia). My questions are: 1. Could this overcorrection regress in the future? I'm 30 yo. 2. This bigger difference between the two gives me a strange feeling. Could correct the other one help or there are chances of overcorrection fo small amount?
I had surgery 6 years ago with lasik and needed an enhancement 1.5 months ago.. turns out I have a 2.25 overcorrection... I was told to put a salt eye drop in my eye (hurts) for a month... and they would look at it again Should I worry? Is it correctable? Will it heal overtime?
One week after optimized PRK OU for myopia with astigmatism (OD -3.75, -1 x010, OS -2.5, -0.25 x170) with Alcon Wavelight Ex500 settings at -3.6-0.77x 010 , -2.39-0.25 x170. Nearsighted since w severe ghosting. autorefracted (+0.25, -0.75) (+0.25, -2). The OD @ post op said healing besides trace SPK OU and didn't mention seeing corneal haze, scar, edema on slit lamp. So why am I overcorrected and is it permanent? finished 1 week course of Ofloxacin.doing 1 mo tapered prednisolone, art tears.
I had a PRK surgery on 03/27/15. Previously my right eye was -9 (sph.) and -0.5 (cyl.). My left eye was -5.5 (sph.) and -0.5 (cyl.). Today (05/04/15) I had another eye test: right eye (+1.5 sph., -0.75 cyl), left eye (-1.00 sph., -0.50 cyl.). I am still taking steroids. It may take a while for my vision to stabilise, but I am wondering whether these early results indicate that something may have gone wrong. At the moment, I am happy, although vision from the right eye feels slightly weaker.
I had prk 4 months ago in both eyes and one eye regressed after a very small correction. My good eye is very slightly overcorrected and I'm hoping for it to regress so my reading vision improves. Is there a procedure to induce a regression in that eye that doesn't involve another surgery?
I had a LASEK surgery 3 years ago. From -6,5 I was overcorrected to +2,5 and the surger created an astigmatism of -1.5 (I had none before). As I was hoping for a regression over time and my eyes have been very dry, I waited this long. However , nothing changed, maybe except for that my eyes are less dry now. Should I get an enhancement? I am under 40 but this much overcorrection and the astigmatism are very bothersome.
Well I'm going to make this simple this would be my 3rd prk enhancement surgery for my right eye if I decide to get it done currently my right eye is+0.50 I had it overcorrected I'm debating weather I should get another prk enhancement surgery because it's a little bit of a hassle. What are some risks that might be not worth it or anything that I should know I've read tons of bad surgery reviews and mine isn't that bad but I think I need more about risks or anything.
I had nearsightedness of -2.00 when I had the PRK surgery. Now 3 months after PRK, I found out I've been over corrected and am now +2.00 farsighted. I cannot see clearly at any distance, near or far. I now have to wear glasses because contact don't fit anymore. What could've cause this magnitude of over-correction? Will it reduce on its own?
