Very over-corrected after PRK. What could have caused this magnitude of over-correction? Will it reduce on its own?

I had nearsightedness of -2.00 when I had the PRK surgery. Now 3 months after PRK, I found out I've been over corrected and am now +2.00 farsighted. I cannot see clearly at any distance, near or far. I now have to wear glasses because contact don't fit anymore. What could've cause this magnitude of over-correction? Will it reduce on its own?
