36 yo Mom of three c-section babies and the first was almost 10 pounds. I am approved for surgery and am ok with a general surgeon plicating my DRAM after my hysterectomy. I have been researching, unsuccessfully, for information on getting my skin done at a later time. What would this entail since I won't need a full TT because my abdomen has already been plicated?
Im a 44 yo mother 3 (4 after 1 stillborn) with 3 c-sections and about 4 years post gastric bypass surgery after 100lbs weight gain over the years. I just got insurance approval for panniculectomy only to finally remove my apron. I am worried it will look almost as bad because the upper part of my belly is shriveled and chubby also. Scared will still be a shelf basically just with scars now. I cannot afford full tummy tuck unfortunately.
I am 35 I am at 190, the smallest I can get now. I have had 5 c sections and I have so much excess skin I need gone. It is literally just hanging there I am on soonercare, do you think I can get this covered so I can do normal day to day activities again?
I had weight loss surgery (vertical Sleeve) I had 3 c-sections I lost a 130 pounds from surgery. Would I be A good candidate for a panniculectomy to me lower stomach skin removal an fat (Referred to as an apron) I have a large sagging hanging stomach which causes infection rashes . And also affects my hygiene which is very embarrassing. I can't do daily activities with my kids or just for myself. I have lost a lot of weight and still feel trap I am healthy I have no medical issues.
I have lost over 100 pounds in the last six years, current weight 160 pounds. Im 5'8 and 43 years old. Three c-sections and weight loss have left me with this stomach and apron belly that make some exercises and activities difficult. Would a panniculectomy benefit me?
Im 41 & need skin removal after a 75 lb weight loss. I have had 4 c-sections. Id like a panniculectomy. The dr at my consult said they do not do the Fleur-de-lis because as you age & the collagen in your skin decreases you can end up looking like you have a bum on your front. I am fine with seeing a scar, I dont care about the discoloration/line showing but the bumps of a front bum is a hard no. Is this a concern? They say they would do an extended horizontal cut & pull everything down.
Hello, Im going for a consult for my insurance to cover a Panniculectomy due to 2 csections and over 100lb weightloss over past several years. My concern is healing time. I dont want to do the full tummy tuck due to the extended length of healing time with abdominal walls sutured. However I want a belly button! It almost scares me to seem my body without one lol!! Will a dr do it through insurance and the patient pay out of pocket for the belly button? If so how much of an add on will that be?
