My lasik surgery was about 4 months ago. One month ago, the optometrist cleared me to stop using eye drops. Today, the vision in my right eye became blurry. When I blinked, it seemed as if I was blinking over a scar, or something was in my eye. What is happening to me?
I had iDesign Lasik performed back in December, and things were fine initially - however in the past 1-2 months my eyes became extremely sensitive to light, I get ghosting of any light source/bright surface and starbursts even in the day, and I am no longer able to see at night, let alone drive. I have residual astigmatism in one eye and was given trial contacts for it which did not alleviate the ghosting. I was told later I had big pupils. Can this possibly be rectified?
4 months after LASIK I have brown spot on white part of my eye/edge on iris. Is that epithelial ingrow? I still struggle slightly with this eye... Struggled two times with double vision/ghosting. After week of using oftan dexa chloramphenicol things are back close to good. Also. Can I use other remedies for dry eyes? Artificial tears help for short time. Can I use something more lubricating?
I got wave-front Lasik eye surgery 4 months ago. The day after I had 20/20 vision but lots of halos. In 1 week I had 20/30 and after a month 20/80 (-2 in both eyes). My eyes do not feel dry and I put in drops all the time as directed. Can this decrease in vision really be due to dry eyes? Also, the doc says she cannot see the dryness in my eye but says it must be the problem due the vision symptoms. I got a second opinion on my eye health and the second doc says my eyes look healthy. Dry Eyes?
I had lasik 4 months ago. A month after the surgery, I developed a chemosis on both eyes. I can close my eyes without problem. It's still here after 3 months and I don't see any improvement, even though at the end of the day, it's much better than in the mornings ; why is that? I still have a bit of dry eyes but it's bearable. Some comments say to use a lot of lubricating drops, but could these drops have caused irritation to my eyes and lead to chemosis?
I had LASIK done in March. My vision was -6.50 and -5.50. My doctor insists I have 20/20 vision, but is it really this blurry for everyone that sees normally? I struggle to read farther than 10ft, have fluctuating vision, and still can't drive at night at all due to halos and bad depth perception. My eyes are blurry individually but decent together. I use eye drops still and had punctal plugs a week after surgery. Would a glass of wine a night cause these issues or is this normal?
