Lasik dry eyes or an under-correction? Are my symptoms really due to dry eyes or is their another explanation?

I got wave-front Lasik eye surgery 4 months ago. The day after I had 20/20 vision but lots of halos. In 1 week I had 20/30 and after a month 20/80 (-2 in both eyes). My eyes do not feel dry and I put in drops all the time as directed. Can this decrease in vision really be due to dry eyes? Also, the doc says she cannot see the dryness in my eye but says it must be the problem due the vision symptoms. I got a second opinion on my eye health and the second doc says my eyes look healthy. Dry Eyes?

do yourself and see a surgeon who actually finished a fellowship in cornea/refractive surgery, it doesn't sound like these guys did as it is pretty obvious you are undercorrected and might need an enhancement, plus dry eyes so you probably should have already received punctal plugs and restasis by now, and also use an ointment at night and drink more water and decrease alcohol and caffeine intake, hope this helps!:)

You have experienced regression -- your vision was very good right away, but then there was a return to nearsightedness (I am assuming that you were nearsighted before). This is not caused by dryness. A repeat Lasik treatment should resolve the problem.
