I got burned really badly by laser hair removal over most of my face and chin. The skin is blistering and scabbing and constantly dripping a yellowy clear liquid. The part that concerns me is the treated areas are turning very hard and stiff like theres large stones under the skin that I can feel out. The hard lumps underneath the skin changed the contour of my jawline. Im too depressed with my face to take pictures to provide you. Please help.
I just had my 4th treatment on my face. I have PCOS and have lots of dark thick hair on my chin, neck and jawline. After the treatment the hair on my face is very dark and the follicles look irritated (like razor burn). Not to mention the pain and tenderness after as well. Is this normal? I shave my face in between treatments as well and after the treatments the hair follicles are so dark and swollen the razor cant even get a close shave. So frustrating!
I am doing laser hair removal on my lip and chin. I went to the beach 2 wks after my first tx (I asked my LME if this was ok since it was pre planned) applied SPF 50, 30 min before being outside and hourly and wore a wide brimmed hat, returning often to a sun shelter. I still ended up with one dark spot on my jawline that I believe is PIH (my fear when starting tx). I am supposed to return 12 days after this trip for my 2nd tx of my package and am feeling nervous. Advice? Will this go away?
I just had my first laser hair removal treatment done today on my jawline, chin, and upper neck. Am I allowed to use a toner that has mandelic acid in it? I'm aware you're supposed to discontinue the use of AHA products 7 days prior to the treatment, as it can cause irritation, but is it safe to use afterwards/in between treatments? Thanks!
I am started to get facial hair on my chin a few years ago. I have been through countless laser treatments and nothing has helped. It started coming around the same time I began to use birth control. Is there some way to get rid of this hair or find the cause?
