On August 7th, Ihad a hyaluronic injection with Juvederm Volift filler. The same day after the procedure, the lips looked strange, white bumps appeared and on the third day, large white bumps and pits appeared under the surface, a large amount migrated to the inside of the mouth. I will upload the photo to understand how did it look after 3 hours and after 4 weeks. healing period. It does not get better, it worsened with time. I am very grateful for your reply. Why did this happen to me?
I had juverdem lip fillers 18 months ago and instantly got a lump, over time it went down but didnt resolve so Ive had 4 treatments of Hyaluronidase but it wont dissolve. Its not the same injector I saw for fillers and she is reputable. One of the lumps has gotten worse after Hyaluronidase. How could this be possible and why wont they dissolve? Shes tried superficial and deeper under the muscle but no luck.
I got Juvederm lip fillers at a Dr's office, and almost 2 years later I still feel bumps in my lips. I went into a plastic surgeon's office to receive lip fillers, and it is almost 2 years since and although the filler has dissolved (and I never got fillers again). I can still feel a lump on my bottom lip that I felt initially when I first got them done. The lump has not gone away in 2 years, is this normal?
Hello! Last year I had 1 ml Juvederm injected into my very thin lips. Six months later I was unhappy with the results and went to another doctor to inject 0.5 ml. I hated my lips, they were too big and filled with bumps so I decided to dissolve. But now my lips look bruised, I believe I have scar tissue on the bottom lip and some permanent bruises. I still have several bumps and am afraid that my lips will look like that forever. Is there anything that I can do?
Hello, I had fillers in France in March 2019 and now I have two bumps and it doesn't go away. I can feel it under my skin. I would like to remove it but I read on RealSelf but also on many other websites that hyaluronidase dissolves also your own hyaluronic acid and that most of the patients that have been treated are disappointed and regret it. I would like to know how can I dissolve it and have a great result? Radiofrequency? Creams? (if yes, please advise which creams) thanks.
I had Juvederm injected in my laugh lines and under my eyes to fill out the hollows. It was too swollen and the doctor dissolved some of it with enzyme, but she did it unevenly, resulting in unnatural lumpiness and swelling that has still not decreased after 9 months! I am certain it is the product because I never had bags or swelling prior to this procedure. I also have lumps under my smile lines that now appear as jowls. Can these lumps still be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections?
I had fat transfer under the eyes a few years ago that left all sorts of bumps but have finally been successful with bringing it down to an acceptable level with Kenalog. There were some little bumps that I can live with but thought I would just smooth it all out with Juvederm so I gave it a try.I had Juvederm injected under eyes a week ago and it is definitely too much and placed lower than it should have been. It looks like I had something injected and I really need it to all just go away – it was fine before. The doctor has not used hylaronidase before and our question is would hylaronidase dissolve some of the natural hyaluronic acid thus leaving me less plump than before (or other possible side effects) and if so would this correct itself?Could regular massaging make it go away in a few weeks; is there any danger with hylaronidase or should we just do it?Appreciate your expertise.Thank you,Katie
Hello Doctors, -Here are my updates!Since my last post in 2015 have mentioned I had bumps&unevenness right after filler injection, everyone has told me to wait . -I waited 6months and come back to the place I hv done filler and wanted to dissolve it,but they told me just wait,it will dissolved by it self about a year, but probably it isnt! -Can 3yrs Filler under eyes be dissolved without cause damaged on own tissue? It its safe to use hyolarondaise for under eyes? Please doctor some advice to me?
About a month ago I had Restylane placed in my tear troughs to treat eyebags. Since then I've noticed that I seem to have slight bumps of excess filler towards the inside corners of each of my eyes. I don't like how this looks, but I don't want to make a small problem worse by injecting Hyaluronidase and risking damage to my skin. If you were the doctor treating me what you would recommend: Wait for my body to dissolve the filler on its own or inject hyaluronidase to smooth these bumps out?
Got 2ml of thin HA (particles .1-.15mm, 200k/ml) 8 days ago. I wanted it deep, but doctor insisted on under skin, scared of hitting an artery and blinding me. She put in 1.5 (via cannula/fern pattern) and it looked nice and flat, but still a little hollow. Adding 0.5 made it into this monstrosity. I really dont want to do hyaluronidase; there are countless terrible side-effect (including necrosis) stories on realself et al, but nor do I want to look like a Star Trek character for a year.
