I had a hair transplant done a year ago. They said it was 3000 grafts, only in the temple/hairline area. It doesn't look natural at all, my transplanted hair doesn't blend with my native hair, it is pluggy (mostly multigrafts). I wish I could go back in time and just not get the procedure. It is done now, but I'd like to remove it. Would it be possible to have electrolysis and just bald natutally?
1 year ago i did a ht. Everything went well hair growed and then i decide to shave it off. I only get the front implant. Now i shaved and wanted to see how it looks. Now in thinking also for the future. If i go bald with my natural hair i want to remove my implanted grafts. Is that possible? Or do i have to life with it my whole life. And shave it with a razor. Kind regards! I live in Europe Netherlands.
I had a hair transplant in November 2022 - 3400 grafts via FUE. I am still getting pain in both donor and recipient area. Pain in the donor area is a sharp stabbing - like someone with a needle. Pain in the recipient area is like someone pushing hard with their fingers on my head. I've contacted the surgeon several times, so far the options have been: We'll monitor it. It may get better in time. Change shampoo. Antibiotics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have had hair transplant almost a year ago and since then my eyebrows seems heavy and close to my eyes and eyelashes, it feels like the gap between the eye and eyebrows have become smaller and my face always looks tired and odd. Note: i have lowered my hair line a little bit only thats why I thought it might effected forghead muscles that lifts the eyebrow likes Note: since 1.5year im experienceing a chronic insomnia, but the issue was long back the hair trnsplant so maybe its the reason
I had a hair transplant over a year ago. 2 weeks after the procedure, I started the process of removing the scabs. My surgeon told me not to remove them because I was going to see him 2 weeks later (totaling 1 month), so he wanted to be able to see the scabs, so that he could see the previous work he did, prior to touching it up a bit. Was leaving the scabs on my head over a month safe for my grafts and their breathability? My Transplant didnt turn out as planned.
It's been a year since my transplant and I have far less density than I should. The transplanted hairs are growing in length, but they're very dry and have a wiry/kinky texture. Is this the result of a botched procedure? I did have a short phase where I smoked a couple cigarettes per day that started about five months after the transplant. I stopped smoking again about a month ago. Is it possible that smoking delayed my growth/healing, and can I expect the texture to change from here?
Hello is smoking cigarettes really going to ruin a hair transplant? Last year after my first FUT I vaped HEAVILY beginning 2 days right after my procedure. I also smoked cigarettes here and there and for sure 3-4 months after I started smoking cigarettes exclusively 1-10 per day everyday. And I had excellent results of my HT. I go to the gym twice a day, have perfect diet and supplement regimens, and am very healthy otherwise. Can anyone answer why I still got great results??
It has been 1 year since my 2nd hair transplant Ive been using Minoxidil 5% since last +2 years, wanted to switch to AnaGrow. Someone recommended me AnaGrow as it has no side effects unlike Minoxidil 5%. I am worried and scared that would I have hair fall because of the switch or leaving Minoxidil 5% for AnaGrow. Please your help is required attached are the picture of the AnaGrow and information related to it. As I have heard if you leave Minoxidil your hair continue to fall at much higher pace.
I got a transplant in Turkey last year. I was a norwood 3v. Doctor only put in 1500 grafts with average density of 33 grafts/cm^2. The results are 7/10. I am not completely happy. I am thinking of doing a second transplant to increase density and also lower hairline further. Will a second hair transplant damage the grafts from my first hair transplant? Are there risks to increasing density with a second hair transplant?
I had a hair transplant 14 months ago. After 1 year the transplanted hairs became too thick and coarse, and now they look unnatural. My hair texture on my entire is head is fine. From what I read on the net, some sources say that it may be only temporary, and the hairs are going to get more normal in a couple of years, but others say that it is not true. Other people suggest plucking them(so they grow back thinner and more normal). I tried to bleach them they remained dark.
