When I got the FUE 2 months ago it was only for 1,600 grafts, I still have a lot of coverage on my head. Plus I plan on wearing a bandana and baseball cap on top of that. From what I hear the sun wont effect graft growth unless it has direct contact with grafts. Is this true?
Hello, 2 months post-op FUE, yesterday I made a stupid decision of going to a tanning salon for an 8 minute tanning session. I put tanning lotion on the recipient area and wore a 50 UPF bandanna that completely covered my scalp but Im still deeply regretting my decision and absolutely will not go back!! Did I do permanent damage in spite of the lotion and bandanna? Attaching photo of the bandanna.
Hi doctors! Sorry for my english,Few days ago i did a hair tranplant (FUE), Two days before the surgery, i used a self tanning cream on my face and very probably a little of the cream touched the beginning of my recipient area. The day before of the surgery i did shampoo and the day of the surgery the clinic did another disinfectant shampoo. However i am scared... Can self tanning cream be persisted on my recipient area and to obstruct the hair growth and the engraftment?
I recently underwent a 1,500 graft FUE procedure. How soon can visit a tanning bed? The artificial sunlight will not be directly at the top of my head. This will be a mild session of 15 minutes in a standard tanning bed. Thank you!
