Im hoping to get a breast reduction but Im not sure where to start. Im currently a 36G and would like to be a 36D. I had a heart transplant when I was 14 though and it has affected the breast shape. I also suffer from constant shoulder pain and did rehab with no lasting relief. What are my chances of insurance covering the procedure? Or are there payment plans available? What are my options or steps I should be taking? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
I had a reduction from a GG to D 2years ago. Scars at first were thin lines, hidden under the breast. Over time they have thickened, mainly on the inner chest and are painful when not wearing a bra. The anchor coming down from the nipple also has a purple area that has spread outwards. My main problem area is the scars on the inner chest as they are visible when wearing certain tops and bikinis. That may sound superficial but they are giving me as much of a complex as when I had bigger breasts.
In 2019 I had breast reduction surgery. I went from a G cup to a D cup. I was extremely happy with the results, but over time my breasts have sagged significantly and within about a year after the surgery I noticed my breasts were very square looking and my nipples very oval shaped. It looks as though my breasts are sagging sideways. I am so glad I got the surgery but I am saddened by the look. When I put my arms up in the air they are the perfect shape and my nipples are rounded again.
I had a 30/32G before I had my breast reduction surgery. After, the breasts settled and I am still experiencing problems: rashes, indentations, and bras do not fit. I am still TOO big for my body. I am at a full D cup, still with a fairly small frame/back. I got horrible news where my surgeon said she would have to do a free nipple graft to take a few more inches off. I am no doctor but that seems ridiculous! It is still a lot of breast meat to take off, can one do the same anchor procedure?
Im about 3 weeks post op, breast reduction and lift from a 38G to around a C/D, and I just wanted to make sure everything looks normal. Ive been putting a triple antibiotic ointment on the incision areas and setting a gauze pad on top under my bra (thats the weird square marks). My surgeon and I have talked about the possible necrosis on the left areola and he says everything else is looking normal Im just paranoid and wanting to double check.
I was a 32G before my operation, and I am now estimated 32D. I know that there can be a difference in swelling between breasts (one being more swollen than the other) but I feel that my left breast is a whole cup size smaller than my right! Is this normal? At my last check up my surgeon said I was healing amazingly well and did not seem to be concerned/ notice the size difference. I however remain worried about my final result...
I had a breadt reduction last April from a G to a D. I'm happy with the results, I'm just wondering if my surgeon cut my entire nipples off and reattached as I thought that was fairly uncommon. I have cut/scars around both nipples and they look completely different than they did before the surgery. Can you tell from the pictures if that's what he did? I did have mild inverted nipples before, one is better and one is worse. Thanks.
Starting about 6 months ago I was not able to run anymore due to my breasts. I want my life back! 1) I want to reduce form 32G to 32C/D, but Im wondering if it might be better in the long run to remove as much tissue as possible and then go with an implant to prevent further increase than to have a basic reduction? 2) If you would recommend a radical reduction with implant what kind of implant would you recommend for an active person and would you recommend it above or below muscle? Thank you!
I was about a 36 G/H and had 762 grams removed from my right and 556 grams removed from the left. I am 3 weeks post-op and tried on a 36 DDD bra I wore before surgery and it still fits. I was aiming for a D cup. Will they shrink more? They look great, but still seem very large. I included a picture from before surgery, 2-days post op & 3 weeks post op.
