Hi I have RRMS since 2011. On medication Gilenya, My MS is stable and no new lesions on my MRI scan from last year. I would like to know if any breast implants will make me feel worse because of my MS? My ms team said ''There is no issues with you having general anaesthesia on the medications that you are on and definitely shouldn't stop you from having any surgery that is required'' Looking for advice. Thank you
I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with MS over a year ago. Things have been stable (no symptoms) for 2 years and I am on Glatect which is similar to Copaxone. I want to know if there is any greater risk for a person with MS to have breast implants put in. Or if there is any greater risk of developing breast implant illness?
She is not debilitated and leads a very active and healthy lifestyle. But she does take Copaxone. Wouldn't it be unwise for her to do the surgery given there were so many health scares years ago with silicone implants? Or if she has saline or gummy bear then will she be okay? Also, are there risks associated with the anesthesia/surgery for her MS?
