I had my breast implants removed 3 weeks ago. They were saline over the muscle. About a week ago, I started to feel a burning or stinging in the bottom 1/2 of my left breast. It is not hot or discolored. Just the constant pain for the last week. It is very sensitive to touch as well. The right breast has no pain at all.
Will breast tissue fluff out back to normal after explant of over the muscle breast implants removed with 9 months of implant ? Are there any procedures / massage to improve the breast tissue to become firmer again and restore nipple? I am 10 months after explant and breast tissue is thin and no structure, skin still stretched, nipple still crinkled over. I am age 42 and size 32A.
I had 410cc textured cohesive silicone gel implants placed above the muscle 5 years ago. I had grade 1 ptosis and was a 34c pre op. My surgeon said I had enough breast tissue to go over the muscle and correct the slight sagging to avoid a lift.I am now looking to explant and remove the capsule. - Am I likely to need a breast lift after? If so, what type of lift would be best for my breast? - Is it safe to remove the implant and do a lift in the one surgery? Many Thanks for any feedback.
Hello I have 9 years old silicone implants over the muscle, I'm planning in doing a explant surgery, can I do a capsulectomy with local anesthesia/ and or Twilight anesthesia since I'm super scare and nervous of general anesthesia. Also what's the risks of not removing the capsule if I'm doing this explant because I'm having some health issues and most likely is because my silicone implants are affecting me! My capsule is not hard, thank you!!
Over 3 months ago i had my small over the muscle silicone implants removed.. was fine a couple weeks then they blew up larger than when i had implants and were hard and painful.. i now have to go every week or 2 and get drained. I wear a tight compression bra or bandage almost constantly to keep it from re-swelling.. my dr has never dealt with this and i don't want to be damaging anything if this is something i will need surgery again for.. help!? Any advice or just more time and detoxing?! Thanks
Are my breasts look likely to improve in appearance? I am 4 days post explant. No lift. I had implants for 7 years consisting of 410cc overs for 3 years, 900cc overs 9months, back down to 450cc semi unders for last 4 years. 27 years old. 19 years old when I had my first implants and am A cup.
Ive had my implant over the muscle for about 10 months and am planning to remove asthey feel really heavy for me and I dislike the sudden sensations that I get in my ribs and breasts. Also I do not want to put myself at risk of any breast implant related illnesses or cancer. I requested my doctor to remove all the capsule but he insisted the capsules for motiva are very thin and will reabsorb which contradicts what Ive read on future complications. I feel lost. I just want to do the rightthing
I have elected to have my implants removed. This will be my third surgery and last one. I have had two right side capsular contractures in the past. The implant is over the muscle, mentor saline, 250cc. One doc said to remove the entire capsule b/c it does not re-absorb. The other doc said he can do it under local anesthesia in the office and he would not remove the capsule b/c it will reabsorb. Who is right?
Hello! After 11 years of having breast implants (at age 23) I need them removed due to capsular contracture. NHS will remove them for me as I wouldnt be able to afford to go private anymore, but they remove not replace, Im ok with this. As NHS surgeons are not usually experienced in plastic surgery, please can anyone give me an idea of what Ill be left with? Size before 30AA cone shaped with no lower pole fullness/crease. Implants 450cc low profile silicone over muscle - size 32E
I removed my 25 year old silicon implants and capsulectomy. They were over the muscle and at the time of explantation they were in tact. Left side had CC grade II-III. Over the past few months I have noticed small changes, but for the most part I think this is what I will be left with. It seems that my inframammary fold is lower and causing a dent in my lower breast. Thank you for your time.
