Breast Augmentation + Capsular Contracture Q&A

Last week my left breast has been feeling off, felt super extra soft and dropping but physically looks the same Now my left breast feels hard and swollen and maybe even higher than normal. Does feel weird when I lay on them I got Them done in 2021 and silicone

Why did this happen? I do not have capsular contracture and all the sudden one breast is higher than the other. How can I fix this? My doctor says they are not uneven...

Hi. I want a breast augmentation but only above the muscle, I've been told by surgeons before I have enough breast tissue to have the above the muscle placement, how much more of a risk of capsular contracture above then below? As I wouldn't have the surgery if below as for me I'm not comfortable with the idea of manipulation of a muscle. Just a personal preference.

my breast implants are now 10 years old and stick out more.  When older breast implants feel somewhat harder and seem to stick out more is it capsular contracture?  How does a doctor determine if a patient has this problem?

Ive recently got my stitches re done due to it splitting. However, from the very beginning of my post op I realised my left boob was slightly higher and more swollen than my right one. Its now coming up to 4 weeks post op and its still slightly higher and fuller compared to the right one but have no pain at all. Is this normal? Ive been reading about capsular contraction and havent found anything about early symptoms. Should I be worried?

My surgeon wants to try the SF placement because I am a fit active person and into weighlifting. I have read that it has the same rate of Capsular contracure than subglandular but then I have also seen recent studies that show it does not but there is a lack of research that ahow the long-term of this placement. Is this placement safe in the long term? And is capaular contracture really lower than Subglandular?

Hi I had breast augmentation 4 years ago and now they appear to be squarish looking especially the right one (the orange one). I was wondering if anyone can shed some light from photos alone. I think I would have them fully removed and an uplift if thats the case but is that possible or have they been stretched out? (I was originally a 32b) Thankyou

I am 6 years post op saline mentor BA. They look great, but for a few years now and even right after I got them done my right breast has always felt different. Most recently as in past 2-3 years I am getting soreness that is kinda painful off and on. I do notice it more after some strenuous activies. I was seen by my surgeon and got an Ultrasound but everything looked and felt normal to him. But I am still left with feeling off. He said the breast is barely more firm that the other. am I ok?
