I was going to get braces and jaw surgery as treatment to expand my upper jaw and shorten my lower jaw. But I just heard about DNA Appliance and Epigenetic orthodontics/ orthopedics. There are many methods of doing maxillary expansion, some are primarily dental while others are orthopedic. If there are braces and brackets chances are you are primarily moving teeth.
